I think we could be looking at a prelude to WWIII and I think that much of what is going on is Iran's way of testing the waters to see what the reaction internationally might be. You may disagree with me and I sincerely invite your input on the debate but I almost feel sorry for the Isreali's and Hezbollah guerillas in Lebanon. They undoubtedly have always had gripes over land issues; however, I don't think Hezbollah would have instigated anything right now if it hadn't been pushed and manipulated by Iran. As such both Isreal and the Hezbollah guerillas in Lebanon are being used as pawns and innocent people on both sides are dying. Already it has been somewhat effective as other Muslim dominated nations are starting to stand in criticism of Isreal, as is the UN. So again it appears to be Isreal, the US and UK. Moreover, Iran is already seeing the US/UK becoming bogged down in Iraq and is loving it. So, if hostilities spread and intensified, who else would join in and on what side.

Yep. Iran is testing the waters to determine the cohesiveness of western powers and their resolve. Iran wanted a distraction right before the G8 summit. The main topic of discussion planned for the G8 summit was the proliferation of WMDs.. especially Iran. They pulled strings to get Hezbollah to conduct an incursion into Israel. Israel knows this.. so they respond in a manner that sends a message: we will never allow you to have Nuclear Weapons. Iran believes they have a window of opportunity, while America has its forces committed in Iraq and Afghanistan, to develop nuclear arms without the threat of attack.... except for Israel. Just as Israel bombed Iraq's nuclear power plant during Saddam's regime... they will attack Iran.
However... with the lack of cooperation between the separate elements of Islam (shia, sunni, and persian muslims) it is unlikely that they will ever form a truly threatening force.

Too many people observe what is going on in the world, strictly from an emotional rather than a rational level. The result is; they cannot see anything beyond the end of their noses. They refuse to see what is in the big picture and respond to any immediate incident and make that the reality of the moment... completely distorting their ability to see what is really going on!

I think it is pretty clear that Iran is going to try and nuke Israel. If that happens, all bets are off. The complete destruction of the muslim world is a very real possibility.

This conflict has been brewing since the beginning of time. There have always been hostilities in this region (review your Bible history) and there always WILL be hostilitites in this region until the end of time.

You understand how they are saying whatever like "We fell into each and every different's hands?" That practically actually occurred with my mom and dad. My aunt used to be relocating out of my grandparents' residence, and her pal helped her transfer, and he knew my father, and so my father went alongside for the trip whilst my aunt's pal helped her transfer, and my mom used to be tagging alongside for the trip, as good, and whilst my mom acquired within the again seat of the vehicle, my father used to be already sitting there together with his arm out and resting at the again of the seat, as though it used to be an arm leisure, and my mom ended up sitting wherein my father's arm used to be expanded out. So, my mom and dad met within the again seat of a vehicle, with my father's arm round wherein my mom sat down.
