since the elctions have been so close and there has been a definite divide between people on what course the country should go, would it be better just to split the country into 2 or 3 parts?

the libs could be one, the cons the other and the poeple who don't fall into any group could make up a third part maybe.

you all think this would make for a better life for everyone instead of bickering all the time and just end up deadlocking over issues instead of resolving them? or the constant reversal and progression of laws because of who is elected that just paralyzes the governemnt now?

Ive always wanted to be in either the Navy or the marines or even the airforce but ive always been scared of the fact that ill be placed in a middle eastern country and thats what im terrified of. I just dont know what kind of military career i can pick. i need a lot of advice. and do they (Navy or aiforce) give you a choice on the number of years to serve? It jus frightens me to think that ill be placed in Iraq because of the many soldiers that have been killed. i dont know what to do. Im so confused.

And if so, how? A man was recently released from prison after serving 15 years for a crime that DNA evidence showed he could not possibly have committed. This could happen to any of us. How can these mistakes be avoided? How can the system be reformed to prevent this from happening? And how can society possibly compensate innocent people for wrongful convictions?

If the next Presidential election were the traditional 2 person race, but the nominees were listed as being members of not only Democrat or Republican party members but also, as an example, Green and Reform party candidates, would you vote for the major party ticket or the minor party ticket? Why?

If Ann Coulter thinks 9/11 widows have benefitted of the deaths of their husbands on that tragic day, should'nt she look at how President Bush has benefitted form the tragic day? During the 2004 presidential campagin, Bush put out those Politically paid TV adds showing that he was presdident on that tragic day. He did this in order to regain the rallying cry he had on the months following 9/11. So here's my point: If 9/11 widows have benefitted from 9/11 (which I don't think they have) why shouldn't they if the man who negeleted to listen to the facts that Osma Bin Laden was determined to attack us, benefits from it. After all, his ignorance tworads the facts was one of the major intellegence failures which led to the events that took place.

Some argue that if you don't vote, you can't complain. Some counter by saying "I CHOSE not to vote." I'm interested in your sincere thoughts on this, considering countries around the world where people will travel miles and risk their lives to vote, while we in the USA produce such small voter turnout numbers. Thank you.

Now that the American people have allowed the largely Republican congress and executive branch of their government to bring the world into WWIII, they want a raise in salary! Let all those outspoken about killing in war pay the extra premium! Give me an AK with unlimited ammo, a few stingers, and I will protect myself!! Women and children, your on your own
