I hate:
1) Pork barrel politics
2) Special interest groups, influence peddlers, lobbiests.
3) Campaign contributions that influence politicians' decisions
4)TV commercials. (The mute button is the greatest invention in
the last 100 years). They insult my intelligence.
5) The "Tax-and-Spend" mentality that prevails.
6) The corruption
7) The fact that only a few of the crooks get caught and that
most of them are still running free
8) Politicians' huge ego, their arrogance, their greed, and their phoneyness,
9) I hate politicians because I don't trust them.

One thing that I love about politics is the fact that, in a democracy, you can watch the politicians duke it out every election year. It's kind of like watching a wrestling match, really. And sometimes the elections are even rigged like wrestling matches, like when the presidential election was rigged in 2000. Things that I hate about politics, though, include the dishonesty, back-scratching, manipulation, and a**-kissing of the politicians. Politicians say whatever will get them elected, regardless of whether it is true. Politicians manipulate the voters by playing on their fears and their basest desires. Politicians and wealthy donors scratch one another's backs, often at the expense of the common people. And politicians always make it a point to kiss the right a** to get and maintain power.

I can't think of ANYTHING I love about politics. I hate the fact that a majority of the politicians cater to the big business, rich contributors that put them in office......

i love talking politics and the fact we have the freedom to without fear of anything and also, the possibility of change.
i hate when debating is showing hard facts to someone and they still think they are right in thier opinons. whats up with that? some people just refuse to beleive things and i really think that is a big problem. also, i hate the way people look one sided to facts just to try to promote thier opinons about things.

Well, I'm Canadian and our politics are a little more tame than the U.S. but to me, politics brings out the best AND the worst in people.

I enjoy seeing how pissed off people get over things they have no control over and can't change.
