He who is first to wave the flag usually waives what it stands for.

A breif overview of reactionary Republicans, perhaps?

cheesehead-"sucky" what a nice intelligent word. You're a religious wimp at heart and you pull crap like that to overcompensate.Grow some real rocks and stop clogging this board up with your angry little boy routine.

Did you ever consider it was those 'real issues' the liberals were pushing that got them booted out of power.

And instead of gripeing so much about what the other side is trying to do. Tell the people what YOUR side wants to do. That's how those stupid Republicans took over. They presented goals the people wanted. And they won! Ever since then liberals have been inhaling canal water.

Liberals have been saying Bush and his policies inhale for six years now. And you may be right about some, but right or wrong, at least you know what he stands for. The public has no idea what liberal leaders have for goals except to get Bush out. I've got a clue for them. Quit wasting your time, he'll be gone in 2008.
And if you don't tell the people what you stand for-- you may be gone too. "Vote for me. I don't like Bush " can be used by both sides.

And flag waving is about as unimportant as gay marriage. So let's hear liberals push some real issues. Tax reform, Budget deficit, Immigration reform, Health care reform, Line item veto for the President. And tell me how you are going to pay for somethig

And you can forget about pushing tax the rich ideas. They don't work. The rich can afford good accountants to duck taxes. I'm not rich and I can't! Besides the budget is already over 2,000,000,000,000 dollars. That's enough!

Oh yes david c - they are certainly "planing" to do this, and what a huge attention grabber it is, I can hardly go anywhere that people aren't talking about it... it's in all the papers, and probably even the note that your day care providers are sending home for you to give to your mommy...

Real issues - like the ones david c is talking about all the time, about how rascally Fox News is, and what a big bully that nasty Bill O'Reilly is... tsk, tsk, tsk... where will it all end?

david c - have your cookies and take a nap and maybe the world will look better to you soon. Oh that's right, you're a liberal, things will always look sucky to you... too bad, so sad...

Do you really think we NEED that bunch of bozos in Washington making any more REAL laws that might affect us? Let them waste their time on non-issues.
What mess does Bush have us in? No more attacks since 9/11. Our troops have wrestled MILLIONS of people out from under the thumbs of Saddam and his crazy sons at a loss to us of a little over 2 THOUSAND. If Clinton had done this liberals would be naming him the new Messiah. But since its Bush.......not so much

The most recent BIG SPONSOR of such legislation was the Great Randall Duke Cunningham, and we all know what he was trying to hide.

Because most members of Congress are corrupt and they can't handle real issues without worrying about which money contributor they might piss off.
