No, they just looked to the east, saw all the fun and wanted to play too. So indirectly, the U.S. and Iraq caused the current conflict. We should have known better than to play our war games so close to so many religious zealots. Next time, we will hang cutains so no one will see our fun and start their own war (that we don't get to participate in).

Where the heck did you come up with that idea?

Israel is in conflict with Lebanon because Hezbollah (a Lebanese based organization) committed an act of war by abducting two Israeli solders. When you combine with years of overtly calling for the complete destruction if Israel it is no surprise that Israel is defending itself.

As with any situation that effects international stability, I'm sure that both America and Iran are exerting their influence wherever and however they can, but the conflict is definitely between Israel and Lebanon not America and Iran.

Let's get this straight. There is no war between Israel and Lebanon. Israel is defending itself (rather emphatically) against the radical terrorist Hezbollah. A very good article recently, in Investor's Business Daily, says that Hezbollah has warned of a "surprise" in store for Israel, and suggests that this may be the biological weapons that were smuggled out of Iraq into Syria. At present, Hezbollah is firing rockets known to be made in Iran and Syria, but the warheads are just filled with explosive and Syrian ball bearings, for maximum effect against Israeli citizens.

to my political and geography challenged people....

Israel is in war with huzbolla...
Lebanon is border with Israel
Lebanon, Syria and Iran are helping this Bulla...
The USA and Iran are in a political conflict...
Iran has not engaged Israel directly because the USA is backing up Israel.
Iran is also backing up Syria.
The USSR and China are backing up Iran
China is backing up N.Korea
The USA is Backing Up Taiwan and South Korea
The USA has active fronts in Afghanistan and Irak
The Arabs are watching the situation really close
Now...Venezuela, Bolivia and Cuba are a headaches for the USA
and possible Peru will add to such headaches.

Canada is just following the USA......eventually their military roll will increase and their economy (which is not bad) will be compromised...

The USA cannot afford $$ ta have more open fronts..too expensive...

The transparency of your question makes a point.

NOW consider the following....there are too many political and military situations already in the oven...they are cooking slowly but surely... something has to give up and WHAM.....

WOW ....what a future....if we have one...what it would be?

No...I am not pessimistic but..I am realistic...

No.
It's not even a war between Israel and Lebanon.
It's Israel against an Iranian supported Lebanonese terrorist organization, Hezbollah.

i think of it alright may well be. With our heads buried interior the sand, Korea is silently making plans some form of attack on some united states. on a similar time as Israel has nukes and so do many others. that's a frightening thought that there must be yet another international conflict. that's even scarier that this one ought to probably be fought on our very own soil. If we would shop our noses out of alternative international locations employer, there does no longer be all this chaos. comparable is going for out "do as we are saying, no longer as we do" concepts-set. Bush isn't the president of earth. merely the U. S.. optimistically some one in our government thinks like the real human beings in this united states and takes a stand in the past some thing else terrible happens.

It's a little bit of a stretch to say that.
I would be more likely to agree that it was between Israel and Iran, and heavily influenced by the American presence in Iraq.

In a way it is. It's between two ideas. One side wants to live free and believe the way they want to; the other side wants to tell you how to believe.

No, do NOT believe the liberal left and their collective nonsense. If you would like, I have sites that show you the evil of terror that the news WILL NOT show us.
