And the American people have hit their boiling point with illegals. Do illegals and their sorry supporters really believe that they are going to win? It's all about votes, money and power which illegals have none.

In particular, here in New York, driving while talking on the cell phone is illegal; and in my opinion it's a good law, since statistics show that hand held cellphones cause accidents. But you never see the law enforced. In fact you will often see the police driving while chatting?

I can understand not agreeing with a law, but should we only obey the laws we agree with?

After working for over 25 years in the Unites States of America, Serving in the military for 21 of those years, it is frustrating to hear that our government considering paying my Social Security benefits to illegal alliens who have never paid in a single cent?

This is what apathy will do in our country if we do not stand up for what is right. Your hard earned dollars that you pay to social security every paycheck will go to people who are in our country illegally and will get a FREE ride on YOUR dollar.

I am amazed that people are so willing to listen to the rants of a woman who simply plagerizes much of her work. I can appreciate a good debate as long as it's based on some sort of original thought and not just a name calling session.

I've heard a lot of cirticism of everything the USofA is doing in the middle east. Do you really think the USofA want to be the one to find EVERY solution to the problems of the world?

Do some of our solutions suck? You bet they do. But does your countries solutions suck worse? Does your country even have any NEW ideas? Does your country have any ideas?

A few years back with negotiations under UN ospices Israel and Lebanon agree to a plan. First Israel would pull out of Lebanon(Observed by the UN). Lebanon was to then disarm Hezbollah so they couldn't attack Israel from Lebanon(Observed by the UN of course). AFTER Hezbollah was disarmed the prisoners would be returned.

You tell me what happened to that deal? Wasn't it a fair deal? And you say we are bolluxing things up? Just HOW was this thing getting started the fault of the USofA?

The US aided in stealing the land from the arabs and plopped Jews right in the middle of a muslim territory, this is why the US is so involved in the middle east, The U.s. Idea to establish a stratijic location in the middle east has failed. Should America take a state like lets say texas and move the Israelies here?

They want us OUT of their countries, Out of their business, but they expect and DEMAND we give them aid.....

Then they come INTO our nation and tell us we HAVE to keep their people and we HAVE to speak Spanish, and we HAVE to let them disrespect our laws and flag, and we HAVE to pay for illegal services and we HAVE to make them legal and we HAVE to let in more and we HAVE to do what THEY tell us...

Wow, what a hypocritical attitude THEY have!

My ex husband and I have joint custody, and we pay half medical bills and half daycare costs.

he got fired from his job, adn I cannot afford daycare by myself, so he will be keeping them while i am at work. So now he is going to get assistance (a bridge card i guess). Will the state try to get money from me? if so how can i prevent this?

Every day (while it is in session), Congresses passes thousands of pages of laws affecting millions of people. Most of these pages not even the legislators read. Most of the laws are obscure, in the sense that they will never hit the news or make the water cooler. How, historically, have these laws been disseminated and communicated to the people they affect? Let's take a specific example: You are a small business owner. Congress passes some law that requires you to do something -- maybe it's an HR issue, maybe it's a safety issue, maybe it pertains to something you sell, who knows. How do you find out that such a law has been passed?

Is there a clearinghouse that digests all the laws and communicates the information to those who are interested? E.g., is there someone who will tell me when anything is passed that pertains to handling ammonium nitrate, or to retail sales, or to residential wiring? Or is it all hit and miss?

it seems to me the governemnt forced diversity does not work, on any scale in any country. everywhere i have lived, the effects of forcing people to accept other ends in the same result.

is it time just to accept the fact that people will not get along so quit trying to waste time and resources on trying to make it happen?

when they are not trying to run for office OR move to another damn country? I mean, ...You know what is really great about this country (unklike places like Iraq when Saddam was in power) you can actually move out of the country without being killed and your family being killed...so give the guy a break...He only has a little while longer and some other idiot will be Pres...and you can complain about him to....but hey, here is an idea...just live your life the best you can...its not like you are on the battlefield....

I don't wanna hear what hasn't been done in the past. What do you think we should do in the future?

I was looking up some info on ferrdom of speech laws and i found this http://truetales.org/writings/breakingnewsarchives.htm#fbiobscenity
this is hugely important to both people of alternative sexuality and those who believe in freedom of expression and human rights. There is currently a very real threat to the viewing of ‘extreme’ pornography in the UK. How many films or photographs do you possess in print or on your hard drive of people in bondage, being flogged or whipped, etc? If proposed government legislation goes through then you may be convicted, sent to prison for 3 years and put on the Sex Offenders Register – even if the images are acted and consensual.
Concerned? You should be! It is vital that we act NOW to stop this ridiculous legislation – it will be almost impossible once it is introduced to do anything about it and you may find that many of your favourite LiveJournal communities and adult websites are blocked. It may also mean the end of Bizarre mag
