The answer is yes. America would be a better place if Mexico just took over through osmosis.
Any body who really knows the Latin people, knows that Latins are wonderful and loving people. Go and tour a real major city in Latin America, like Lima in Peru. Observe how a people interact without law enforcement for the most part.
If it were an American City without police, there would be dead bodies lining the streets. Some of the dead would be from gunshot; some would be from untreated disease; some just old people forgotten and dying; children who were victims of hit and run; and some young woman dead from a botched illegal abortion.
I am not talking about justice, I am talking temperament. Latins are nice and friendly people general speaking and you can count on it. America could assimilate some more of that good character, compassion and equanimity.

However, with the Stern Father model, America is caught up in meanness.
