John & Marsha decided that the only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon quickie with their eight-year old son in the apartment was to send him out on the balcony with a popsicle, and tell him to report on all the neighborhood activities.

He began his commentary as his parents put their plan into operation. "There's a car being towed from the parking lot," he shouted.

A few moments passed. "An ambulance just drove by."

A few moments later, "Looks like the Anderson's have company," he called out.

"Matt is riding a new bike."

"The Coopers are having sex!"

Startled, Mom and Dad shot up in bed. Dad cautiously asked, "How do you know they are having sex?"

"Jimmy Cooper is standing out on his balcony with a popsicle, too.”

Just observing from all of the different questions and anwers, I've come to the conclusion that if we don't do something now about this Liberal/Conservative debate we are going to drive a wedge between each other that may result to something as drasctic as a second civil war. What bothers me the most is that it seems no one realizes that we are FORCED to choose between one side or the other, as we have but two major candidates to choose from. What about those of us who are not hard liners to either side, but borrow from the ideas of each view point to reach our everyday opinions? Personally I feel that those who categorize ALL liberals or ALL conservatives by their stereo types are forgetting the hard work we've done the past 100 years to reach a sort of equality in this nation. We should push toward more voices in our Presidential elections as opposed to 'OK ya gotta pick A or B'. I don't know about the rest of you but I'm tired of eating oatmeal and toast every morning.

What do you all think? In your opinion, who would make a better president, Theodore Roosevelt or George W. Bush? I'd personally pick Teddy.

The Lebanese Prime Minister said his country will 'fight off any invasion', but is it really what he wants when he can simply outlaw Hizbullah?

I am all for intelligent debates about Bush but way too many are saying things like "Don't you think BUSH wants to take the world over???" and "Isn't BUSH A NEO-NAZI?"

A fellow Yahoo Answers member contacted me via personal email and made all kinds of accusations about my heritage and how my "caucasian" ancestors were slave traders. As far as I know my family has never been involved with slavery in any way, shape or form. This got me to thinking. When a racist is racist.... do they realize it or are they oblivious to their own attitudes?
Here's the question that spawned her unwarranted attack along with my answer which was voted as best.

I tried to give some possitive influence and encourage her to become more than she is but all I got was flack. If she didn't want to hear any answers she shouldn't have asked the question in the first place and if she didn't like some of the answers she got she should have picked her own best answer rather than putting it to a public vote. Am or was I wrong?
