I am all for intelligent debates about Bush but way too many are saying things like "Don't you think BUSH wants to take the world over???" and "Isn't BUSH A NEO-NAZI?"

"How do you feel about Clinton (either one) bashing. Is that OK?"
Yes it is just like Bush. But people calling Clinton a kid killer would be the equivallent to what everyone is saying about Bush on here

""liberals would negotiate with Nazis"
or "
ummm yes actually they are the ones pushing for negotiation with the islamic terroist. Why wouldn't you think they would try to negotiate? Conservatives would be more pro-war.
""Muslims follow a hateful corrupt religion that uses fear to make people join.""
riiight. and this isnt' true? They are the new nazis of this world. the islamics make people join them by fear and force. ANd how does this even fit under the catergory of liberal bashing? So now I can't say the evils of the world and it is bahsing liberals??
Seriously, the nazis made people join by force. Thats what the islamics are doing. I am not afraid to address this issue.
"Sorry. Thanks for playing..."
Huh? Show me one post where I said something actually stupid like "DEMONCrats worship hitler!"

and may I add on to my last comment:
I NEVER SAID LIBERALS WOULD NEGOTIATE WITH NAZIS. How about you actually read my whole post and not just skip through it? I just looked back at it.
I did say a JOKE of a HIPPY (yeah not liberals) saying "negotiate with the nazis maaaan". Nothing to do with liberal bashing.

The Bush-bashing will continue for about as long as the Clinton bashing did. It's still going on...
I'm all for intelligent debate, but it usually requires 2 or more informed, intelligent parties participating, not people who say things like:
"liberals would negotiate with Nazis"
or
"Muslims follow a hateful corrupt religion that uses fear to make people join."
Sorry. Thanks for playing...
edit:
The problem I have with some of the people on here is they assume they actions of the most vocal in any group dictate the actions of the group as a whole. Not all liberals are anti-military, as you implied here:

Not all Muslims are Islamic fundamentalists as you implied here:

You are one of the few on here who, for the most part, debates your side with facts, and doesn't resort to petty insults (except for the Al Gore joke, which was funny by the way).
I, for the most part, try to ignore the questioners that are obviously just looking for a fight, unless I'm in the mood for one.
You will see as many "Libtard" or "liberal baby killer" remarks on here as you will "Bush-hater" remarks. It's not goint to stop. Just don't play along unless it really offends you.
I apologize for my "thanks for playing" remark. I was expecting a smug, insulting reply to it, but instead, you defended your position. Well done.

The mindless bashing is probably just a bunch of twelve-year-olds who happen to have accounts on Yahoo. I figure most liberals are intelligent people capable of intelligent and honest criticism like anyone else. Sadly, in a forum like this, a few children and idiots can ruin the image of a particular group for everyone.
Personally, I'm a conservative, and I get just as bent about some of the children who wade into that conversation as I do the mindless bashers on the other side of the political street.
Believe it or not, my vote is completely up for grabs in the next elections, because I don't feel like Republicans are representing intelligent conservatives. Guess what will sway me? Mindless bashing or intelligent debate? If one party comes to the table with a clear plan and rises above the baiting and name calling... I don't care who they are, they'll have my vote.

People have the freedom to complain about their elected leaders. I voted for the man twice, but I am not very happy with his second term! Yes, he is better than Kerry, but I think he is a poor president.
I am not as passionate in my bashing, but he utterly failed in leadership. He did not handle Katrina as an upfront leader, and does not act like any other issue besides Iraq matter. I did like his Judicial appointments. Illegal immigration is a failure and he is good friends with Fox. Oil prices are becoming an issue and he has oil ties. All in all it does seem like he is not doing well at answering these issues.
People liked him because he was vocal on the war on terror, but he is now robotic in his discussion! The only one I still like is Connie Rice!
If you want better answers, ask more complex questions.

I don't think the Bush-bashing should stop, but I do agree you need intelligent debate. A reasonable answer enforced by the right research is a pretty strong way to get your point across.

Yes. Criticizing his policies and actions is one thing, but the bashing and name-calling and such don't add anything constructive to the debate, except to reveal the nature of the individual who engages in said commentary. And yes, I know it's free speech and you have the right to do it, but that doesn't make it a good idea.

I don't know, I think it cuts both ways when I see Bush supporters stooping to the same level and bashing the "evil liberals" to heck and back.
To be honest, I think both sides need to grow up and learn what a real debate is.

Debating with a Bush supporter is like playing chess with a pigeon. It knocks over all the pieces, craps on the board and then it will fly back to their flock to declare victory.

I want the world to know that not all Americans agree with Bush's reckless management of world affairs and his neo-con beliefs. More Americans disagree with Bush than like him.

The real issue is that Bush is repeatedly crossing the lines of seperation of power. Not that all Presidents haven't tried to take more power, but he has taken advantage of the global terror issue to rampantly drive over many of the things we take for granted.

If Bush really cared about the state of our country he would step down and resign and apologize to the world for his poor judgment and incompetence. but he won't because he lacks integrity. He is truly a man with out any human decency.
