ok i agree i am generalizing but that is intentional, but i have found that generally the conservatives who support Bush are usually not well read and very dumb. they basically believe the crap they are told because they 'need' to believe!!!! on the other hand the true fiscal conservatives actually hate Bush because he is spending way more than any liberal before him besides the fact that he has increased the size of govt to a ridiculous level.

Seriously, you just made yourself look dumb for asking this question. Not all conservatives are rich or dumb. There are liberals that are rich or dumb as well. It's people like you that give the rest of us libs a bad reputation. Think before you type.

Obviously not dumb if rich, its because they hold the majority of the country and have for a long time, thats why the democratic left keep falling on there faces in attempts to gain control.....if the republicans were dumb I think it wouldnt say much for all the liberal and democrates they outsmart..........

They like being led, they are stuck in a cess pool of old prejudices and they like to pick on other groups because they are afraid of them. If they had their way we would all be stuck in the 1950"s minus rock n roll.
Society needs to breath and to grow even when bad comes along with the good and who's to say what's good or bad anyway? Just do what you have to do and don't hurt anyone in the process.

that's a generalization... you don't think there are middle-class, college educated (not dumb) people who are conservatives? There are a LOT of conservatives that fit this category. Maybe they're just not as vocal.
