You really need to do some research before asking questions. There is no draft in the United States. It is a completely voluntary military.

Judging by your question, the military would probably do you good. I just hope they never let you handle a gun.

The new army policy say that you can indeed have tatoos anywhere on your body. the only way to avoid that is to get a giant weiner on you face that reads "i love cock"

TO ALL: By the way there is still a draft. It just hasnt been used since the 1970's. That is why at 18 you register for selective service. That is your draft number. If things ever got bad enough in the world, rest assure it will be used.

Not is this country. There is no draft, (now!)
Having a tattoo on your face will just make you look stupid, not invisible. Tattoos are not bullet-proof.
Try to remember what doors you will be closing with a tattoo anywhere, particularly visible ones. There are SO many banks, law offices, and medical schools, that will laugh you out of the building. Do you want to limit your future for a doodle on your head?
You will have more difficulty being hired and you can use your tattoo as your excuse instead of that you are ill-equipped, uneducated or have a bad attitude.
My advice: get all the tattoos you want in places that are discreet.

First of all, the draft is not in use right now. It does still exist but it would take a severe crisis for it to be called up.

Current AR (Army Regulation) states that tattoos are authorized anywhere but on your face. Furthermore, they are not authorized if they promote a terrorist or violent group or philosophy.

The Army cannot force you to remove it, but if they are willing to reinstate the draft, chances are your tattoo wouldn't do much to save you.

Besides the easiest way to avoid forced military service is to enlist, do what you want to do, get a buttload of cash and get out in 18 months.

Where have you been? America has had an all volunteer army for years now. Perhaps you should move to New Zealand where facial tattoos among the Maori natives are culturally acceptable.

When this country gets desperate enough to reenact the draft, it will take far more than a tattoo to keep you out.

Yes, if they bring the draft back, then it's because they need people and a tattoo isn't going to disqualify you.

yeah. the only way a face tat would get you in trouble is if you joined the military and got the tattoo during initial training cause it's destroying military property.
