Absolutely not!
He cheated to win both elections and wasn't ever elected.
His economic policies stink.
He gives way too much to big business without any guarentees that they will pass anything down to the general public or even their employees.
He has hurt our nations international standing.
He didn't do anything to protect the country on 9/11.
The war in Iraq was rushed into based on lies, and is now an utter mess.
The Stem cell veto.
Bad decisions for the two supreme court nominations.
Katrina.
Outing CIA agent Valarie Plame.
No Child Left Behind, virtually unfunded, in fact he cut money for schools.
800 signing statements, there were only 600 issued by the other 42 Presidents combined!
The Patriot Act, and other civil liberty disasters.
Poor military strategies in both Afganistan and Iraq.
Disolving the Bin Laden search team of Special Forces, he did that this month on the 4th of July, pathetic.

"The president has been voted into office he is the commander in chief, respect him for that if that alone. We have our own minds to like or dislike decisions, but we must follow our president who was voted in as our fore-fathers intended......."
That is the same logic that can be used to support a king. The Founding Fathers hoped for debate and dissent, that was an indicator of a healthy nation, not a nation of minions who support the President.
I do not support the President because:
1.) He constantly tries to get the Republican Congress to bring up moral issues when there are serious real problems. A ban on gay marriage does nothing to help the senior citizen paying 200 a month for drugs.
2.) I am paying 3 dollars a gallon, yet the president will not provide more money for public transit, or do anything except enjoy his oil friends getting rich.
3.) With 70-90% of the county in favor of stem cell research, he vetoed the law
4.) Bush constantly says he supports security, yet fails to deliver money for security at home. Most of the failing grades the 9-11 comission gave have not been fixed.
5.) Bush refused to provide a full investigation into 9-11.
6.) Bush illegally spied on millions of American's phone calls with no relationship to Al-Queda.
7.) Bush callously disregards the constitution and attaching statesments to laws he signs saying they don't apply to him.
8.) Bush has pissed on every international convention on war, illegally attacked a nation that was falling apart anyway.
9.) Bush illegally and with disregard for all international law, tortured and abused prisioners captured in Iraq and Afganistan. How does the US look in the Muslim world now?
10.) Bush has constantly attacked the NY Times for their constantly exposing his illegal and immoral activities just has the founding fathers had hoped a newspaper would do.
11.) Bush chastized the Surpeme Court when they ruled that a minor cannot be executed.
12.) Bush portrays himself as a moral Christian, yet he constantly takes from the poor to make the rich a little richer.
13.) Bush and his henchmen cannot argue anything anymore, so they resort to childish name calling to distract from the truth. Go to Yahoo message boards, all Republicans can do is call liberals names. If you give them facts, they run and hide or call you names.
14.) Bush has created No Child Left Behind, and then refused to provide the funds needed.
15.) Bush is the first sitting president to attempt to use the consitution as a tool to discriminate.
Bush has worked to undo 60 years of working towards the American goal of 1 nation with liberty and justice for all.

No, I do not.
1.) He has done more to divide the American people than any other President in our history.
2.) He has repeatedly broken the law initiating/perpetuating unconstitutional programs that spy on the American people.
3.) Using the 9-11 tragedy as an excuse, he has passed legislation that changed our Constitution, THE document that defines what our country IS, and what rights our citizens have...THE very rights and freedoms we brag about...and that he had SWORN to protect and uphold. With his passing of the U.S. Patriot Act, he has severely compromised the American people's civil LIBERTY, legal JUSTICE, and FREEDOM of speech.
4.) Again using the 9-11 tragedy as an excuse, he has put us in a mis-named war based on lies, which is nothing less than a hostile takeover that has NOTHING to do with terrorism.
5.) Repeatedly (and unconstitutionally) intermixes religion with politics to bribe and convince his constituency.
6.) There has never been a more ANTI-"AMERICAN", UN-PATRIOTIC President...ever.
7.) Proves how easy it is for people to be indoctrinated and persuaded by EVIL.

Yes. Everyone is so ready to bash Bush in, but when this war started he very well told everyone that this war would not be an overnight thing and that we were not going to stop until the terrorists were taken down. Now everyone is moaning and groaning against the war. Why is it that everyone is just ready to give up and allow them to run over this country they way they please and blame the president? The president did NOT kill those thousands of Americans in those twin towers but now that the initial shock is over and the Americans are no longer out there saying "get em get em" everyone wants to bring the troops home and stop the war. No, it isn't easy, but at least Bush didn't do what Clinton did as well as his father and give em all a slap on the hand. I respect him for sticking it out over there and giving those people something to live for as well as trying to save the American people. All you Bush bashers can say what you want as far as motive, blah blah but the bottom line is we vote in the president. If you don't like him, vote him out next time, but the major of the American people voted him in. That stands for something. I believe in Bush and I believe he is trying to do the right thing. No one can throw a stone at him for things he has done right/wrong. No one is perfect. Not even the US president. But he has prevented further terrorist attacks on our country and I feel safe knowing that he is doing his best to protect us and our families. So plus fute', I suppose you're for terrorists in this country, killing of unborn babies, and of course you must be gay. Wow, says a lot don't you think that you're the kind of people who doesn't like the president. The rest of us who are for taking care of our country and protecting others are looked down upon. Thanks.

You have to support the leader of your country, even if you do not always agree with him. After all, his job is to look after your best interests. You have to respect the position. That being said, I believe he has done a poor job of representing the poor and the middle class in this country, but I wouldnt degrade him, disrespect him, etc. because our beliefs are different on this and some other issues.

Spell-check, baby!
I never did support him. I don't think he is the legitimate president. I think Gore got robbed, and he didn't have the guts to pursue it.
I think Bush is an idiot. Disrespectul, shallow, devious, power-crazy, and just dumb as a post. He is like a puppet, with Chaney's hand up his butt. He embarrasses me, even without "Bushisms" and inappropriate touching of female diplomats. He reminds me more and more of a dope-snorting, frat-boy, who has gotten away with being a disgrace all his life, because he grew up wealthy and insulated from his mistakes.
It is going to take 20 years to undo the damage he has done to foreign relations and our position in the world. I think he is dangerous.

I still support the president. He's not perfect, but he's a whole heck of a lot better than the other choices.
He also has his facts straight on the problem in Israel and I'm proud that he puts his foot down and tells it like it is.

Any leader that follows through on his beliefs is a good leader. With the exception of his anti-Abortion and Anti-Stem Cell research, I very much support the President.
