ghost nation is right. Some of you may not see it, but believe me the government are doing everything they can to try and prevent free thinkers.
Don't believe me? Try publicly voicing your opposition to the war in Iraq, animal testing, support of Israel or anything you don't agree with. Either in public, or on the net.
If you are discovered, you will be tracked and if they don't like what you are saying... they will get you on 'terrorism' or 'extremism' charges.
Yes this has happened to a number of people.

This is a rather sweeping statement, perhaps you could be more specific - I think we do have freedome of speech where it doesn't infringe on the rights of others and it is certainly a lot easier to express your views and beliefs in the UK than a lot of other places.

Exactly, political correctness has gone up the wall.
All the immigrants that were allowed in this country over the last 30 odd years are exploiting the laws that were brought in to protect them. They abuse these laws against the Englishman and now the Englishman is like a foreigner in his own country.
Something definitely needs to change

we do have freedom of speech...but in having this right you also accept the consequences of saying what u want. if you put your thoughts out there be prepared to get a reaction, no matter if it's what you want or not.

We do have freedom of speech. Just as long as you say what they want you to say. And do as they want you to do.
