If Ann Coulter thinks 9/11 widows have benefitted of the deaths of their husbands on that tragic day, should'nt she look at how President Bush has benefitted form the tragic day? During the 2004 presidential campagin, Bush put out those Politically paid TV adds showing that he was presdident on that tragic day. He did this in order to regain the rallying cry he had on the months following 9/11. So here's my point: If 9/11 widows have benefitted from 9/11 (which I don't think they have) why shouldn't they if the man who negeleted to listen to the facts that Osma Bin Laden was determined to attack us, benefits from it. After all, his ignorance tworads the facts was one of the major intellegence failures which led to the events that took place.

First, your question is not so much a question. It's more of a rant. Bush WAS PRESIDENT on that day, but that's not the point. What he did afterward to protect America and to make Americans feel safe again is the point, whether you agree with his actions or not. Personally, I never would have predicted that America would not have had to endure another attack 5 YEARS after 9/11. So I think Bush has done a really excellent job. As for Bush failing to listen to Bin Laden...what a joke! Clinton had the opportunity to take Bin Laden out and failed to take advantage of it because he is a liberal pansy afraid that someone might be offended. No intelligence agency had direct knowledge of the events that would take place on 9/11, so Bush didn't either. Anyone who says otherwise is the worst sort of cynical conspiracy theory nut. I don't think Bush can be accused of being weak, even by his most irrational critic.
As for the Jersey Girls, they made themselves legitimate political targets when they went out on the campaign trail with Kerry/Edwards.

let's not forget Ann Coulter herself is profiting from all this by writing a book and getting multiple television appearances.

Yes the 9/11 widows did in the most strictly financial sense profit from the deaths of their husbands, as many widows do when husbands die sudden deaths. Insurance policies, inheritance and so on. But i bet if you asked most people in this situation they would trade the money for the person.

Bush should be held accountable, and he has been by record low approval ratings and an inablity to have any kind of support in congress which has led him to basically take the law into his own hands to resolve or attempt to any situation.

What this really showed is how vulnerable the country is when we have a new leader, too many new appointments, no trust with previous adminstrations staff that remain (director of CIA etc) There needs to be a better transitory period between administrations.

Well here's another fool heard from. Ann Coulter is yes a little insensitive to the widows, but the fact remains they are now millionaires because of this tragedy. The widows from Oklahoma aren't millionaires, nor any other terrorist attack from around the world. That's just fact. Anyway.....How is this Bush's fault. Clinton had the chance to get Bin Laden and did nothing. Bush was in office 8 months when this happened. You want to blame someone, blame the terrorist. You're a fool to even suggest this was at any way the fault of the US Presidents (any of them). Do your research, get the facts, all the facts.

Ann Coulter's mouth is getting her rich quick with her TV appearances and books. Bush did benefit from 911 politically. He fooled millions of people. It's true the widows are now millionaires, but that's normal in such a situation and they didn't choose sudden and tragic death for their spouses. No money can bring them back.....)(

Exactly right, for using the deaths of soldiers for her own ends, Coulter is really smarmy ****.(rhymes with bunt)
9/11 was the best thing to happen for Bush and the neo-cons, the war machine that is the Defense Dept. couldnt of asked for anything better. Anytime Bush was down in the polls, you knew a terror alert was coming.

Ann Coulter wasn't talking about ALL 9/11 widows.

I suggest you research what you are talking about and try again.

Disagree.

While Ann could have been a little less blunt with her statements, I'm not sure she is that far off in certain cases. And, I am NOT an Ann Coulter fan.

I think someone will agree with your statement, but I don't. First, your multiple grammatical errors effect me like speed bumps in the parking lot of life. Second, I have absolutely no interest in what Ann Coulter says.

well, i don't see how anyone can benefit from a death of a loved one, unless they just didn't love them actually.

i think bush benefited from the 9/11 during his election because the fools that voted for him for that reason forgot that as president he is suppose to prevent things like that from happening.

either way, i don't think that 9/11 or any other tragedy should be used as a toll for political gain. to me it is a very inmoral thing to do.
