Bugger that, it's the PC brigade acting like bloody fools again. What kind of moron would come into a country and subsequently claim that he is offended by that countries national flag? Anyone who does deserves to be offended and should be ignored for being a git.

I'm proud to be English whether sport is on or not.

Someone said: "Also during these sporting events you see Pakis with England flags, what's that all about."

Yea, that's racist, St Georges cross isn't.

The union flag is most associated with racism (the red white and blue cross flag) as this was adopted by the National Front in the late 70's and early 80's and bastardised. The St.Georges Cross (red cross on white background) is the English flag.

Basically, many people thought it was patriotic to fly the England flag during the world cup, not because they were patriotic, as they would fly it all year round if they were, but to state to the world, that they loved football....

Did you notice these flags were only hanging off white vans, and shitheaps of cars and only hung from the windows of the very finest council houses.....

It's not racist to ever fly a St George's flag. Go to any European country and they will be flying their national flags.

As it said in the World Cup issue of Viz on it's England flag "I'm not racist, I just want England to do well"

If this is genuine, this is an entire nonsense. Did the gentleman in touch no longer get the officer's variety, so he ought to be pointed out? this is in basic terms the form of tale that the BNP types like to spotlight, despite if it seems somewhat suspicious that the officer who mentioned this could't be traced. it is not racist to reveal the go of St George, and it may be displayed with the aid of whoever needs to. Why could all people migrating to a rustic take offence at that u . s .'s flag being displayed? If it occurred, this is a pity the gentleman did no longer refuse - the courtroom case over the effective could have been very exciting!

Quite simply, it's not. There is nothing wrong with being patriotic, but if the idea that this is the case can be implanted in the mind of the general public it takes their mind off of many other problems in our society and helps weaken the idea that our basic civil rights are something worth fighting for.
Reclaim the flag I say, and be proud of your country and all its citizens.

because we are a very proud country and although i am not racist or ever will be i have heard stories from people where they have lost jobs and the like because imgrants are cheaper to pay. I think they see it as a scapegoat or as something "wrong" in the country but i hate racism
