Christian here but not Republican. I didn't realize Christ founded a political party. He must have forgot to tell me.I think only terrorist and fools wouldn't support a countries right to defend itself againts terrorism. If someone broke into your home and kidnapped your children would you defend the perpertrators of the crime or your home and family? Seems kind of obvious to me but then again I'm neither a fool nor a terrorist.

probably not. In the future when they (Israel) are fooled by the anti-christ for a short time, the whole world will be fooled also, we believe by then we will be gone. Christians living at that time would not support the anti-christ, thus not support any who would support him. The antichrist is only supposed to govern peacefully for 3 1/2 years and then all Israel will be against him along with any Christians alive.

no...and it makes no difference whether I'm Dem or Rep. (Independant by the way) Look at history..any country that messed with them is no longer around, divided, or totally screwed up as a consequence to their actions... The Day the US demanded that they give up Gaza, Katrina hit us...there are many other examples, but I think it's better to err on the side of caution and stand with them.

Oh, and btw...prophetically, the Arab nations will attack them in an all out war, and when all is said and done, prophecy states that only 15% of the attackers will survive...I don't care for those odds. Whether you believe it or not, Historically, if you look at the big picture, it really does seem that something/someone is watching out for them...jmho

Seems as though you miss the point. I find it difficult to understand people like you who haven't the ability or desire to see reality. This conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is a part of the war on terror, just as the war in Iraq is.

Hezbollah has been around since the 1980s. They stem from the group that took Americans hostage in 1979/1980. See, Hezbollah is not only an enemy of Israel, but is also an enemy of the United States.

Yes, this has been going on for decades, but we are now in the GLOBAL War on Terror. Our focus is on dealing with terrorist groups and eliminating them. If Israel is successful in eliminating Hezbollah, I see that as a victory for Israel AND for the rest of the free world.

We are also told in the Bible that in the end all nations will rage war against Israel. The "all" means all nations including The United States of America. This will climax in Armageddon. The answer is yes to your question.

I would stop supporting them if they were guilty of any of the currently false accusations of terrible deeds made against them by the Arabs and anti-Semites.

The fact is that for almost 60 years, they've shown a restraint and a respect for human life that their enemies have never shown.

They've repeatedly come to the negotiation table in good faith and have honored their commitments, unlike most of their neighbors.

If they ever start behaving like any of their Arab neighbors - tyrannical, bloodthirsty, murderous, extreme violators of human rights, etc - then they will no longer have my support.

The people of Israel are God's chosen people and the principals in the Bible indicate blessing for those who support them and cursings to those who do not support them. The biggest mistake that ANY administration could do is screw up the relationship that we have with Israel, our GREATEST ally.

As a Christian No...... However someday(I think soon) all of the world will turn its back on Israel... this is just one more sign of the times
As a Republicans.... this is not a Republican thing this is a right vs wrong thing. Republican should have nothing to do with it.

In John's Revelations, we are told that any country---any nation---that goes against the Children of Israel will be turned to dust. Whoever turns against the Chosen People of God, the Children of Israel, is doomed.
