Who is voting for Kinky Freidman for Texas Governor? I sure am. Wouldn't you like to see the Star of David on the Texas flag instead of the Lone Star? I sure would.

Pro-amnesty forces promote the Ellis Island conceit that illegal immigrants “risk everything for the dream of freedom,” as President Bush put it in his May address. The president’s assessment, while flattering, is not particularly accurate. However lousy the Mexican economy, there are few if any political freedoms enjoyed by Americans that Mexico denies. It is the Yanqui dollar, not untasted freedom, that brings the vast majority of illegals here. “The dream that most of us hold on to is the Mexican dream,” Efrain Jimenez, an official with the Federation of Zacatecan Clubs of Southern California, told me last year. “The Mexican dream is to make enough money to go back and own your own business. Four-fifths of Mexicans here would say that if they had a job in Mexico, they’d go back right away.” Most Mexican immigrants do not intend to become Americans; they come wanting to return to their home country, but end up staying out of inertia. They naturalize at half the rate of Asians or Europeans. This is not a recipe for assimilation.

I know it's really scary to think that our leader could have gotten his thoughts confused but do you think he meant what he said?

Apparently Putin is pondering the offer from Bush but I saw on the news this morning that the pundits are thinking that Putin will decline Bush's offer.

What do you think? Do you think Putin will take Bush up on it and start turning the party apparatus towards an Iraqi style of democracy? I know it's the marvel the world over but still, I'm a bit pessimistic.

Okay the war is a war, there is nothing you can do about it. If you want it over go help fight in the many places troops are stationed.
Second of all Bush can't fight you know why? He is the Commander-in-Chief. You know what that position is? He is incharge of all the military members he is the highest of the high in rank; he beats any four-star general we have. And have you ever seen a president fight for his country? The answer is NO.
The war is not going to work out if we do not support President Bush; I said support him not agree with everything he does or says. We may question what he does but there is not too much you can do.
Also not everything in the media news is true. You know what they focus on? the stuff that people are interested because that is news.
Our troops are proud to serve our country. They would be happy to die for their freedom too. All of them who have died, are all heros to me.And they should always be.
I'm saying support Bush and the troops.

Cheap Labor ?

Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?

Business don't want to pay a decent wage,
consumers don't want expensive produce,
Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs
but the bottom line is cheap labor.

The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie.
There is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal Mexican who sneaks in here with his wife and five children.
He takes a job for five or six dollars an hour.
At that wage with six dependents he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year if he files income tax he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent,
He qualifies for food stamps.
He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.
His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.
He requires bilingual teachers and books.
He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

What was up with that? A gay head of Russia?

And Bush had his hand tightly around Putin's waist today. Again, what the heck is going on?

I think we need our leader back here pronto. There's enough of that gay stuff spreading around everywhere nowadays and the last thing we need is for the US of A to have a gay leader.

I'm getting Jerry Falwell on the phone first thing tomorrow morning.

I live in Wisconsin - last year I lent my best friend $550 (a rather stupid thing to do now that I think about it). She still owes $300 and we are no longer friends and I'm pretty sure she has no intention of paying it back. I never had her sign anything saying I lent it to her. All evidence I have of it is the withdrawal from my savings account, and possibly her bank's records of her putting it into her account (same amount). Could I get anywhere if I took her to court?

Go here to see how low the Casualties are compared to other major wars. Seems pretty low to me. We didn't pull out of Europe in the World Wars.

For those of you who think its illgal. Why? And if so what do you think we should have done since Iraq was in violation of 17 different reselutions. And for you WMD people we did find WMD. Kind of like the ones he used on his own people. Did I mention they were of a different religion, dont forget the kurds. And if the UN had been formed back in the 1940s do you think the UN would have allowed us to fight against Germany?
