Who is voting for Kinky Freidman for Texas Governor? I sure am. Wouldn't you like to see the Star of David on the Texas flag instead of the Lone Star? I sure would.

Are you kidding? You do realize how secure republican Texas is? I know it's funny & exciting, but Kinky won't win one single pct anywhere in teh state, not even in Austin. He'll be the fourth place finisher & that's all there is to it. Hell the democrat Bell is going to have a hard time finishing second ahead of Strayhorn. Even with republicans not happy with Perry over taxes, there's no question at all that he wins overwhelmingly. Again, I know it's been a fun run, but it's not about getting elected, it's about having had his say on a few key issues (that mostly people never listened long enough to hear & if they did knew they were nutty), and then to give the state the finger on his way out. Well good for him, most no one's ever heard of the guy, not even really a has been, and now he's going to lose & move to Hawaii or whatever he's said. Go ahead and vote for him though, it doesn't matter.

I do like Kinky, I think that he has a bigger chance than what a lot of people expected. I don't think that I am going to vote. I don't know enough about each of the canidates to vote for one.

Um, I don't think you'll be able to get the flag changed. It'll be an interesting ballot with Kinky and Grandma on there.
