I disagree, I think are far less incident of brutality than there was before video cameras where on every corner. I've been a cop for 10 years and I've heard the stories of how they used to abuse prisoners if the person simply got scared and ran. There is much better accountability and training offered now.
The public perception might be that there is more brutality, but that I believe that is simply a matter that more of it makes the news, not that it is actually on the rise. I assure you that there is a trend to offer ethics training in many police agencies. There have been and continue to be extensive studies into police misconduct so that it can be better understood and prevented. The vast majority of cops do not abuse prisoners, but the few that do make us all look bad. I have personally investigated and arrested other police officers for abusing their authority and "bullying" the public. There are those of us who will simply not tolerate that behavior and we realize we must first police our own before we can police the public.

Who says police brutality is a bad thing?
Courts have liberals on the bench who slap these punks on the wrist and let them go. Even if one of these liberal turds want to send someone to prison they couldnt because the states cant afford it because the liberals spent all the states money on the unions and the illegals.
So what solution is there left for punishment? You guessed it cops beating the crap out of people. Thank God, we still have that left. Once thats gone, this country will be worse than Bagdad.
I agree with the lady that says there is more media coverage of it. Back in the days when the news media wasn't made up of of foaming mouth liberals, most police "force" would have not even made the news because the media knew the thin blue line was the only thing keeping the thugs and punks at bay.
Now the ACLU and other liberal groups are attacking our officers and trying to put the punks in charge.

As with all the bad things in the world, it's not there is more of it now. There's just more media coverage, hence we see it easier and assume it's *grown* more. All it is (just like with perverts and pedophiles, murder, abuse of any kind) is just in our faces far more than it was 10, 20, or 50 years ago.
Plus I think cops just get sick of jerks and take it out on stereotypes when they get over stressed or angry.
Don't forget most police (or any law enforcement persons) typically have a very high rate of depression, power tripping & power control personalities, and other mental problems that aim them towards even wanting to be a cop in the first place.

I believe we have more cases because people are entirely too disrespectful of order. I am not saying people should not stick up for their rights, but I do know that we could learn from the police in Germany and Singapore.

No, I'm not. We've become a nation of people who think nothing is their fault. And if by chance someone is caught, they know darn good and well that they can find something wrong in every little action law enforcement does.
