How much does it cost to pay off the government if you can? And do you think that the US will issue a draft for its military in years to come soon due to increasing conflict in the world?

I'm fourteen and I'm not a coward.. I love my freedom and I'd protect it.. but in that way I'm a hypocrit considering I couldn't kill another person. Eh, maybe it's because I'm young.. I don't know.. but the insight of those older than I could help...

There is no reason for a draft at this time. There are plenty of brave young men & women willing to volunteer to protect your country & defend your freedom. You can not pay off goverment to get out of draft, but when you go in ask for my son as your commanding officier. He has a great spot of front for you. I will tell him you are coming.

there WILL BE NO BLOODY DRAFT. Sheesh. How many times do you have to hear it?! NONE of the military branches WANT a draft in the first place, and in the second place they don't need one, they are doing quite well thankyewverymuch.

The current crop of Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines are highly educated and motivated. they work with high tech equipment every day and have no use for people who don't have enough personal courage and pride to enlist on their own time.

There won't be a draft, because the military needs volunteers who are highly trained and motivated to use today's weapon systems. You'll note the talk of a draft never actually seems to come from the pentagon,

You know what???? The talk of a draft the last couple of years in congress was brought to session by Democrats. Things that make you go HMMMM. No draft because the military is better when it gets people who actually want to serve....not a bunch of pansies who don't want to.

Guys guys guys, lol we dont know if we'll even be alive in 4 years lol. Nuclear war is on verge lol we all know it WW3 man. Its inevitable since every nation wants to proclaim them selves gods. And either way, its not the military that chooses, its the dumbasses we vote to office and our corrupted congress, So who knows might be draft, might not. Wont know till it happens.

The United States wants a professional army. Not an conscripted force which is very low quality.

If they're going to do the draft, hopefully I'll be able to get out of the US before it starts. New Zealand, that's where I would go.
