Legal, perfectly legal.
Iraq was a major threat to peace in the world, defied UN inspectors, lied to the world, and Saddam killed millions of his own people. Would you have attacked? I think so the Iraqis wanted us and needed us to save them from Saddam.

Your question is flawed. Of course the war is legal. Your question should be, Is the war in Iraq justified? I do not think that any war is justified. It is really sad that you seem to have such a reckless disregard for the lives put in danger for this war, on both sides. However, diplomacy still had a chance, but Bush ruined that. What does being of a different religion matter? You really don't know your history, because there was a League of Nations before WWII, and because the U.S.A refused to join, it had no power.

Illegal. When you bomb a civilization back to the stone age, that s war. That it was not properly declared is irrelevant. Imagine you are the mother of four sitting in the wreckage of your bombed out home, devastated by the death of your three children and the kidnapping of your husband. Meanwhile, we kill homeless here. I think America is about over. I do not feel free. I am terrified of the authorities here, of my government,
There are adequate resources for all to live simply and abundantly in peace. Imagine what we could do with our science then. Let is all live for peace. War is only for self-defense, and the war in Iraq has made no sense. We need to rebuild large portions of our own country. That any American starves or is forbidden to sleep for lack of money for rent is unforgiveable.

I think War is legal WAR IS HELL that's why i think the troops that were arrested for raping some Arabic family and killing them shouldn't have been arrested. If they can cut off our soldiers heads and put them on their backs. Our soldiers should be able to do anything. The Media should show whats really going on in Iraq and the other countries that are involved or getting involved in the WAR.

Yes the war was legal....does anyone follow the UN anymore??? Congress authorized the war, therefore it is legal. Even if the UN was around in 1940, WWII would have still happened....look how long it takes for them to even render a decision to take action.

It is legal is the sense that Congress approved it only after Bush, Cheny, and a host of others irroneously said that Saddam had WMD's.

It's not a war, and the President is allowed to order military into another country without Congressional approval (which he had anyway).

The war in Iraq is very legal. No we would not have fought in WW2. Hitler would still be in charge there and maybe here to.

It's legal, and technically there is no official war right now. But then again, Vietnam wasn't technically a war either. "Conflict" was the word used.
