the male foreskin is quite large compared to the female foreskin.
it covers the whole glans and then some.
the female foreskin is quite small by comparison, covering the clitoris. some call it the 'clitoral hood'.
if this is the case, then why is foreskin removal banned for girls, but not boys?
based on the size alone, surely you would ban it first for boys.
because it is bigger, it also causes more pain to cut it off. another reason to ban it first for boys.
additionally, the foreskin plays a more prominant role in sex for males than for females. it contains about half of the nerve endings activated during sex for males.
for females' foreskins, this is not the case.
i am very glad at least one half of humanity, females, are protected from needless, routine sexual surgery. this has been around since the dawn of time for some reason and signifies a great leap for humanity in becoming civilised.
