why evacuation instead of reconciliation?

Up to this time no attempt is made to solve Isreal/Lebanon problem but those who are at the position to do so are more concern of evacuation. They should remember that this is not the way to handle this problem. It needs immediat attention, but instead the issue is being handled carelessly. This will really worsen the situatio.

The European Union has been trying to talk to Israel since this crisis started, and Israel is having none of it. The EU is historically close to Lebanon so we're up in arms over here about the issue.

However, we must look after our citizens first as Israel cannot be trusted to do that for us. Evacuation muct come first

I am wondering why our servicemembers are having to place their lives at risk to evacuate people from Lebanon. Those people were told that going there was a bad idea - but went there anyway.

Obviously those who have the power have already realised that this sitiutaion is beyond mediation, and instead of waiting for innocent people to die, they rather evacuate them. Doesn't that make sense?

wars and conflicts are about strategy, borders and resources. evacuating the citizens could result with them losing their homes and their lands forever! israel could claim southern lebanon and no one could do anything about it. some people would rather die in their homes than leave them to the "evil doers" and become refuges like most palestinians.

why is it careless to evacuate your people before they are killed in this senseless violence?....

I say...get the innocent people out of there, and let the others kill each other if that's what they want......
