The truth is we can't.
That's what the right to bear arms is for.
Every citizen should be a soldier. A militia is essential to the safety of the country. No amount of military, short of everyone in America being one, could protect us from terrorists.
The U.S. Government has slowly, but surely, replaced the power of the people with a feeling of helplessness.
Terrorists are just criminals. That's it.
They are nothing more, nothing less.
This word is used because it has a habit of striking fear into people. Fear is good for the government. Fear is irrational. Fear lets the government take and take and take until the people are all but helpless against the government. It is happening, slowly, but surely.
If you want America to be as safe and free as possible do the following.
Legalize drugs, Get rid of the patriot act and stop making laws.

Good question. Its been done pretty well so far, but it can happen anytime again.
I've thought about how I would do it were I a terrorist. There are many ways. Coming through Mexico is the least attractive. High quality forged docs from a friendly nation would be the easiest way.
There's no simple answer.

By continuing on with fighting these groups on there own land and not allowing them time to move in to America. Continue to keep our airports, docks, and train services under tight security. Keep our FBI and CIA constantly alert and on their toes and always following up on new leads. We should expect our Gov. to protect us and I think Pres. Bush and company have done everything in their power to maintain the safety we enjoy. They have upheld our safety and have kept us safe since 9/11. The war on terror is not a joke and should never be taken lightly.

These kinda terrorist acts would would only be taken as an oppurtunity by opponent political parties to come to power and the ruling Govt. will only see that nothing of this kind happens

The Indian Government is there only to announce compensation to the people who have suffered on account of terrorist activity. Only people like u and me , together, have to fight these terrorist activities by keeping our ears and eyes open. Any fishy activity should be reported immediately to everyone concerned or the police.
