The FBI has drafted new legislation which would allow massive surveillance of internet users. It would require ISPs to create wiretapping hubs for police surveillance, and it would require manufacturers to build in 'backdoor' technology in computer networks that would allow for easy eavesdropping.

What Does Victory Look Like?

How much longer are we going to put up with this? Does anyone seriously think there is a peaceful and amicable solution here, other than we leave and Iraq plunges into violent civil war? Well Cons?

No, that's OK, no answer required. Few of you in my experience are capable of thoughtful, rational explanation. Vietnam was over thirty years ago, long enough where the majority of people have forgotten the lessons learned there, or weren't even yet born. A new generation of ignorant, illiterate people rushes to war. Thus has it ever been.

What a shame and a waste. It will tear America apart before it's all over.
Aren't you people proud. The blood is on your hands. Shame on the Republicans who are running this country.

A punishment is designed to be for the good of the punished. If a baby eats sand you spank him so he does not eat sand anymore. You would not spank the baby for eating brocholli just because it wasn't dinner time.

However it is impossible to make laws that cover every possible scenario, so there must be ways to determine if an action was justified after the action takes place.

Driving with a revoked license is just one example of a law that should be like that.

If so I hope they can teach the most powerful nation in the world how to fight. The Marines and Army look like Abbot and Costello when up against the Insurgents. I mean, Look at the Insurgents. Basic weapons, No Jet fighters, No tanks, and yet they are making the Marines holler "Uncle" everyday. Amazing!! The Marines are eating "Crow" morning noon and night as the Marines and Army men get their rear ends handed to them everyday. The Rag Tag insurgents are really hard fighters. The Marines/Army men should take notice.

To me, adultry would seem to have graver consequences on society than say prostitution. For example, if a single guy wants to seek out a prostitute, then what's wrong with that if nobody really gets hurt. Secondly, adultry and lack of family support seems to hurt society the most.

Say you're hunting with your father and he accidentally shoots his hand off. Now you are out in the middle of the woods with no cell phone, and the only way to get to the hospital is to drive there. Your father can't drive for obvious reasons, but you have a revoked drivers license.
Technically it might be illegal to drive, but should that really be a crime?

This is NOT to discuss religious beliefs or likes or dislikes. Merely to ask a question that if one sensitive subject is covered, why not another?
After all, religion in itself is a make or break issue with many, the same as politics.
This is a censorship issue.

It's a trick question, folks!

Why? Because neither speaks for, or represents, the majority of us Americans.

I don't care who we vote for as long as it's a Moderate. The rest of you should all move to Montana and fight among yourselves.
