Lets see peace or oil wars. We blow up Iraqi's because Saddam has weapons of mass destruction. Well there goes the peace part.

Dick Cheneys Halliburton oil company gets a no bid contract to grab Iraqi oil, and other things. Dick Cheney has made over 8 million dollars from Halliburton since the Iraq war. Score one for oil.

Oil guys get in the white house (George H.W Bush, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney) and we always seem to find ourselves at war with an oil rich country and the price of gas goes up. Chalk another one up for oil.

N. Korea is the biggest threat to America for some years yet we go after Saddam. N. Korea has no oil but Iraq does. And the winner is OIL!!!!!!!

And don't let nutcase conservatives try to convince you that we found WMD's. Even Bush and the boys laugh at that small potatoes crap we found weeks ago. Most was WWI vintage mustard gas that doesn't work. The other serin has a shelf life of only two months. Republicans don't even bring it up because they know its a joke. Your in more danger of dieing by standing in front of an Ethiopian during an all you can eat buffet than by those so called wmd's. But hey nice try guys, any excuse will do.

Peace; the WMD's did exist at one time for Saddam even used them. Even Bush's haters have to admit this truth.

Second if its for oil then why are we not taking it as a spoils of war? If it was for oil we'd be doing just that and we are not.

Finally I say again "peace" because its our hope to return the country to its people so that they may go on with out the tyranny of Saddam and his sons threatening them and the world as they have for more then a decade.....

We're fighting in part over the peaceful trade of oil. Saddam Hussein supported terror, and threatened the region. He even invaded a neighboring country to steal their oil.

wmd have been found, but that was only one reason for the invasion.

Oil war. Short term price of oil is partially controlled by the OPEC cartel. Another is United States dollar's slump against the Euro. Since oil is traded in dollars, the price must increase for OPEC to maintain purchasing power in Europe.

And who wanted OPEC to switch the medium of exchange from Dollar to Euros? *drum roll* ...Saddam Hussein.

Fighting a peace war ?. If we were looking for peace, then we will not fight. It is definitely an oil war !. The concept of PEACE is a disguise to justify the war.

So what you are saying is, any one who thinks it is a war for peace is wrong. Why even ask the question if you have a preconceived notion of the answer?
