My bf and I are dealing w/ his ex who currently lives in tx. She has a one year old and about 4 months ago called us up and told us it was his and she would be fileing w/ the tx district attorney. She told us 3 months ago that the paperwork she be on its way to us. We havent heard from her in 2 months and I just sent her an IM asking her when we would be recieving something. She told me we would have to call the da's office. I asked her about a case number and she said that she had one, but we would have a different one? is that true? or is she just pulling our leg?

Clearly all the caring that liberals do for the "poor" in America is just a class-warfare election tactic because the logic of the argument makes no sense.
Tax cuts that benefit only the rich is what liberals claim. The gap between the rich and poor is getting larger the liberals whine. If all this is true, I ask liberals, where is all the money coming from? The typical response ... blank stares.
The rich can't steal money from the poor because poor people don't have money. Could it be that capitalism, like it always does, continues to create an ever-expanding WORLDWIDE middle-class and the capitalists who started it all are just benefitting from their work? A rising tide lifts all boats, even the rich.

Is it true that since Ken Lay is dead he is no longer considered a convicted criminal and the government can't collect anything from his estate? I understand that the local corronor declare the death a natural cause and released the body for burial. If I were conspiratorialy inclined, I would speculate that he had a medically induced heart attack, therefore doesn't go to prison and his family keeps all his wealth.
