I believe it illegal anywhere.

It is not illegal as of yet... think about how they don't want you to use your cell phone and are encouraging you to use a headset or some other hands free device. It's not illegal, but it is dangerous.

I think it's illegal anywhere, but it's CERTAINLY dangerous! You can't hear the traffic, police cars, ambulances, etc.
