Casinos are open 24/7. government wants those tax dollars.

Most shops close early on Sunday out of respect for the Sabbath (to some extent).
Casinos already have a reputation of being 'dens of iniquity' so they have no need to respect that tradition, not unless they really care about that sort of thing, which I would assume they don't, if nothing else for the sake of the money they would lose by closing early on Sundays.

Casinos are able to stay open longer on Sundays because it is profitable and desirable for them to do so. If regular shop owners felt that it was profitable and desirable for them to stay open as well, they would be open,
I read a story once about a business that was supposed to stay closed on Sundays due to local blue laws. It opened every Sunday and paid its fine every Sunday because it was profitable to do so.

I don't personally know of a casino that's not open 24/7!

I think shops, casinos and everything else should be allowed to open when they like...
I don't see why my life should be hampered by the religious beliefs of others...
...if I want a pint of milk at 4am on a Sunday I should be allowed to buy one.

It would be better is the shops were open the same amount of time. Sunday is not a sacred day t many people...it is just another day.

Nope.. and I also don't think it right that we were tricked into war. Don't think its right that women can use abortion/72hr pill as a form of birthcontrol. I dont' think its right that there are liquor stores on very corner, nor do I think it is right that you can buy liquor on Sundays. I don't think its right that that politicians are able to break lawyers and get a slap on the hand. I dont think it is right that we as Americans have to pay taxes and provide benefits for immigrants and others. Seriously.. I am all for the positive and productiveness of all people however, I don't believe that they should be able to come to the U.S and live tax free for years and we as Americans have to pay for thier growing businesses and luxuries.

I certainly do not think it is it right .Ialso think that we do not
want anymore casinos in this country at all.
