Depends on the definition of we. Who are you to say,

How can WE eradicate anything in Africa???

Unless you are African and from a specific region/tribe/country- then you probably have no real understanding of what Africans are, what they want and what is important to Africans.

Read Chinua Achibe - His message still applies today - even more so.

This question belongs more in philosophy than Government.

Africans live differently - they know hunger, disease, death, suffering, warfare, unknowable poverty. They also know nature, survival, life on the edge, quenching a real thirst, life without chaos, life in simplicity. What do Americans really know of this - what they see on their plasma T.V.??? while they choose what snacks to eat from a full fridge and cupboard. Go get in your SUV, slam down a latte from Starbucks, while you rush through bumper to bumper traffic every day for the rest of your life.

Africans do not choose to understand beyond the single day. How can they. They feed their belly if they can - enjoy the simple things - and live in their own world the best they can.

The western world can not understand Africans easily and should not assume to solve anything - other than what cholesterol medication to choose when they become obese.

When the western world detonates its Nukes - Africa will be the survivors and comfortable in what remains of the world. Leave them alone, they are better off than we are in the long run. Really.

Sure would be great if we could eradicate the corruption in all governments but it seems to pop up no matter what. It's up to the people living in those countrys to oust out the corrupted individuals who destroy their governments. I sure wish I had an answer to your question but I can't as I'm not a citizen of Africa.

I lived there for 12 years and am in the process of writing an autobiography of my experiences there.. Corrupton in Africa CAN NEVER BE eliminated. Remember that the leaders are people off the street.. not that that is bad.. but people who h ave no education... no experience.... except day labor, etc. It is the desire of every child in the African Countries, to be president because they know that once president,l they would come into until wealth. I have always said that Africa could support itself and its citizens in adequate living standards but it WILL NEVER HAPPEN because corruption will never be eradicated in Africa

There are many answers to this question.

Most will offend others. However the only suitable one is: If the United Nations, World Bank, etc, did their job we would have no corruption. Look at Zimbabwe what is being done. More importantly what has been done?

In the early 1900's a man by the name of Addison Brown came up with a theory that he dubbed Universal Economics. He realized even then the potential that electronics would play in revolutionizing the world. He theorized that the modern idea of capitalism and a fascist America would eventually cause an instability in the market. Capitalism causes a bottleneck in the advancement of society because it is fueled by greed, UNEC allows us to expand our society, becuase it relizes that we have unlimited potential when we invest in human infastructure. If you would like more information on Universal Economics feel free to contact me!

Personally I think the only real way for change to happen is through education. When the people are informed they become empowered as they find ways of getting their voices heard.

First there must be someone in power who cares about the people. Second they probably must be a Christian or even a devout Muslim who is incorruptible. I don't see it happening in my lifetime. The ones in power are there because they murdered the former ones in power.
