What can I say? American politics are a joke. It's all about getting the vote and taking office. Much like Network TV and ratings. I'm so tired.

I am in agreement with you. Dems and Repugs are different sides of the same coin. I'm ready for a party that seriously speaks to my issue too. Realistically, it won't happen in my lifetime. We are stuck with the two we have now!

Well, since your tired, do someting about it. I am not attacking you but just trying to inspire you to do something. As Americans, we know our system is corrupted. Politics are close to becoming a criminal in todays world. Bribery, dishonesty, all for money in some cases. It would be nice to see another political party but that will result in the Democrats and the Republicans singing Kumbayah and attacking that party. In the end, reformation of a party is better that creating a new one.

It's a little more than that. the industrial-military complex is working hard toward world domination. Adding religion to this quest will boost its popularity among the masses. Making derisive jokes about anyone who opposes them, like calling people tree-hugging liberal bastards, atheists, non-believers, adds to their strength by making the semi-educated feel superior. if you read some of the commentary on this site, you will understand that this ploy is pervasive.

Their puppet figurehead,George Bush, himself, is a semi-educated, bigoted, and sometimes overtly stupid man who, through his claims of religiosity, has won the hearts of the religious zealots..

Since the news media are so controlled, they have made the real struggle look like something asinine and laughable. Right now, the democrats, who, in my belief, are mostly complicit, have accepted the role of the buffoon . and the almost completely uninformed public (including you and me) buy into the entire ploy because we are not able to get better information.

Eventually, one of the two parties will support a candidate that doesn't cater to the far extremists. However, as with everything, there will be some position they will have that will be extremist in viewpoint and that will be the only point discussed by the media.

And what would a third party be about, the same thing? I'll answer that for you, yes. Politics will always be about who has the most to spend.

You should look into the Libertarian Party if you are more on the conservative side - it promotes individual responsibility - not a very liberal ideology. Liberals want the government to wipe their bottoms for them...

No, it's more about who will play ball with the real powers that be in this world.

We don't see the truth. We wouldn't want to know the truth.
