Osama bin Laden, who had grown up among Arab rich kids, identified Bush as the kind of clownish spoiled wimp who strutted, sputtered, bluffed, bumbled, and backed down. So the terrorist sheik licked his chops when we elected Bush, seeing it as a window of opportunity to pull off an insulting show of force that would elevate his group to the status of Archangels of Allah. The WTC was a trophy and a recruiting poster, nothing more.

But Osama also knew that Bush was too stupid to see 9/11 as a message only (as was our own raid on Tokyo a few months after Pear Harbor), just a publicity stunt, and that Bush would ignore the main focus of jihadist war plans, one part of which was to get rid of Saddam Hussein and his secular aggression. So Bush was ignorant enough to do what Osama wanted to do himself.

The Taliban, the Iraqis, the Iranians, the Venezuelans, and the North Koreans have all been emboldened to laugh at us for standing behind this stupid little boy and his Peter Pan crew.

2) Are they individuals capable of thinking for themselves OR sheeple following what the media spoon feeds them?
3) What percentage are actually wealthy? What you think they really have---examples: are they heavily in debt with big houses or maybe they are conservative with their money and save?

I have come to the dreadful conclusion that politics are so confusing and generalised that you are either "Left-wing trash" or "Right-wing scum". Is it possible to be middle wing???
Or, instead of Liberal or Conservative, Conservberal???
All of the questions (read: statement posed as questions) I've seen here today can be said for both liberals and conservatives, republicans and democrats, yankees and mets, whatever.
Can't you just be middle? It used to be called "independent", but typically those are now generalised as liberal. Or Mormon (no offense meant) or something to that effect.
Also, can't people distinguish the difference between socialists and their corrupt leaders???

Soldier who served in Iraq tackled by fliers after bizarre incident.

TAMPA, Fla. A frightening incident on a New York to Florida flight, where passengers tackled another flier they say rammed the cockpit door.

And it turns out the suspect is a U-S Army solider who served in Iraq.

This happened last night on a Delta flight to Tampa, where an airport spokeswoman says the soldier is in custody. Authorities are using a state law that lets them hold someone without charges if they pose a threat.

She says the soldier's brother told investigators he has mental problems related to his military service due to killing innocent people in Iraq. But the spokeswoman adds there's no evidence he meant to harm anyone on the flight.

Still, one passenger describes the soldier as behaving oddly by tapping his body and showing off his body art. The Soldier was saying "Hurting innocent people is the American Way and I'm proud of that". The man was then arrested.
