If you are able to land a job and get the appropriate Visa from the European union, you are legal. If you want to go right away, the easiest way is to get your ESL teaching certificate and get a job teaching English. If you are willing to spend more time, you could get a job with a multinational and request a transfer to Europe. Good luck.

As unfair as it is, most other countries have much more strict requirements for entering with a work permnit than we do in the US. And in many of these countries, if you cross illegally and get caught, you will either be deported with no right to a hearing or jailed, assuming you don't get shot the minute you climb down from the fence.
Europe is much more difficult to get into on a work visa than even Mexico. It can be done, but it will cost money, time, and sweat.

You will have to consult with the immigration department in the country you hope to go to. Every country has different laws.
