Would you do something that goes against your religon if your country told you to?

( this is of course assuming you believe in a God, first person to say I don't believe in God is gay and shouldn't answer the question since it doesn't pertain to you )

if 2 people love eachother, they should be able to get married. you dont choose to be gay. all fetus' are female, like it or not. but the brain has to register the masculinity or the femininity. and sometimes the brain fails to do that. so i dont see why people are discriminated because they love differently. and since when are we a country of moral?? george w. bush is the one killing evryone and trying to make every country like the u.s.! does anyone agree with me??

I owned a business in wi the job was never finished due to winter .They then hired another person in the spring instead of calling me back. without even telling me(even though we had a contract to complete the job with no finish date. now they want to charge me with theft in a business setting as a felony.Even though i have documentation of where every dollar went. The only reason This is still going is because they will not give me credit for any of the work i 've done. Even though the other company said all of the work i had done was good and completed. No small country can test a long range missile without it being aimed at another country which could be considered an act of aggression. I wonder how feasible it would be to declare a world-wide neutral zone where any country could aim long range missles for testing. It would be better than what there is now, just aiming it where ever to test it.

If there was no significant outcry in the U.S. calling for immediate pullout. And the media was not sensationalizing and pointing out every single attack that the insurgents make, would there still be an insurgency now?
Would insurgents still do what they do now if they had no media to play to, and no "pull-out now" crowd in the U.S. to motivate their actions? Why or why not?
I know many in the U.S. have strong feelings about this war, but please be thoughtful and honest with this answer. Thanks!!

I don't understand why some people tend to be so negative about Police Officers. There are some lame movies and this famous story about donuts. Jeez, Police Officers are amazing people. I'm not saying all are, however, it doesn't apply to each and every one of them. I always see them driving by patrolling the area and I feel safe. It's not their fault people drive too fast without a seatbelt, or do drugs and participate in illegal acts.

As a 16-year-old I really appreciate what they do. And how they encourage youth to lead themselves to the path of righteousness. While we're sleeping in bed these people are out protecting their community. They too have a family to return to. So do Firefighters who run into burning buildings to save a life. And Paramedics who give the same care to their patients like doctors only difference is that they do it at scene alone with a crowd watching by or in a house with extra dim lights.

I just put this together (although I'm sure someone has thought of it before).

Using Atlanta MPA as a sample city, the average family makes $21,000 / year.(1) Therefore, Republican tax cuts save them $9 annually. (2).

The rise in gas prices will cost that same family $5772. (3) Thus a net savings of - $ 5763.

Is it any wonder that, despite good numbers, people aren't thrilled with the economy.

I've often wondered why brutal dictators like Kim Il Sung of North Korea, who keeps his entire nation suffering from starvation so that they have to eat grass, aren't killed by individuals like terminal cancer sufferers who hate him and have nothing to lose personally. I'd attempt it if I was a North Korean and had terminal cancer.
