Yes. They are here for work and money. If there is no work or money, there is no reason for them to be here. The solution to the immigration issue is to punish all those who hire illegals very severly so they don't even think about it.

No. But "everyone"'s customers would go home.

Minimum wage is minimum wage. Apart from some exploitation that does go on (e.g. the Morecambe Bay cockle pickers) everyone's paying the same money for the same work. Foreign workers often have the edge over nationals in (e.g.) the service industries because we have a huge number of people in the UK (nationals) who quite simply can't hold down a job. That's a symptom of various kinds of social decay, and it's a big shame, but it has nothing to do with illegal immigrants.

Let's say you're at some event in whatever industry you work in, and there's some hospitality (food, drink, whatever). Try taking away the illegals who serve it and replace them with locals, and see how well that works.

Meanwhile the illegals all have emergency National Insurance codes so they don't have tax allowances, so they pay more tax than anyone else. At the same time they get few of the protections that a national would get.

It's us who are exploiting them. Nuff said.

Yes, they would. Unfortunately, you have two problems(at least).
1) You have to actually enforce law and punish the employer. We need to be much more harsh on employers.
2) I live on the border, there are quite a few hispanic, as well as white/black people that hire illegals to do their lawns or their homes. Perhaps they see it as "helping." Then again, maybe they are just as lazy as they say white people are. Who knows?
The law must be enforced with homeowners, and that may be difficult.

Cut off jobs, social services, emergency care only, English only, no ESL. They won't want to be here.

No.
The reason they stay here is because its easy money. This country has a duty to ensure that people who are in financial difficulty are helped. This kind of help is not offered in many other countries, so its obvious why people stay here!
This is a good and honourable thing but it is abused and not just by illegal immigrants.

Most illegal immigrants come to the U.S. in the pursuit of financial gain. They come here and do the jobs that most of us Americans will not do ourselves. For example; field work, dish washing, construction, and factory work. If the welfare system was done away with and lazy Americans actually got up off of their butts and went to work then we wouldn't need illegal immigrants as much as we do now ! ! !

No, since the reason they are in the country is because they are economic migrants. The illegal immigrant will always be there because they are willing to do the same job for lower wages than the average UK/US worker in the same industry.

Stop being racist... many of these people have escaped poverty, wars and loss of everything they own, and the least you could do is empathise with their situation.

Many of their wars were started by us, affording them the weapons, whilst we drained all of their natural resources and had a very lucrative lifestyle. Which incidentally, we misuse, while they are acutely aware, that their own citizens and families back home, who are suffering in poverty and caught up inside violence, not of their own making.

Would you give up most of your earnings to support your family back-home? I don't think so! Many of these people do!

If they're illegal and you know it, don't employ them, because once you do, you've aided and abetted them and approved of their illegal status, and broken the law. In fact, not exactly a model citizen yourself!

well, yes, since theyre here to make money, take away the pull factor and many of them would stop coming. not all, cuz there are plenty of push factors, but a lot would not come over. however, that will never happen because cheap labor is what drives our economy.

You'd also have to deal with the low lifes that make money out of human misery by fleecing poor people and deal in human trafficking.
