State at least 10 things (or more) that are positive accomplishments since bush TOOK (literally) office in 2000....I dare you!

Too bad all of those accomplishments were in IRAQ!

President of Iraq. Because, since 2000, here's what Bush has done for the United States of America:

1. Illegally and unconstitutionally invaded another sovereign country that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked us;
2. Massacred tens of thousands of Iraqi citizens, including women and children, for no justifiable reason - to the horror of most of the civilized world;
3. Turned America into a police state wherein citizens are presumed guilty until proven innocent;
4. Tortured 'detainees' without regard to the rules of the Geneva Convention, and looked the other way as these people were physically, verbally, emotionally, psychologically, and sexually abused;
5. Tarnished our reputation as a world leader and global peacekeeper;
6. Put American taxpayers trillions of dollars in debt to finance an obscene 'war' just because he wanted to 'get even' with Hussein for humiliating his daddy during Desert Storm, and because Big Dick Cheney wants all the oil swimming underneath Iraq's sands so he and his Halliburton buddies can get richer and richer and richer;
7. Neglected the needs of America's homeless, disadvantaged, underprivileged, aged, sick, disabled, and hungry while playing "Robin Hood in Reverse", stealing from the poor and giving it all to the rich elitists, lobbyists, special interest groups and big businesses who - in turn - make generous (if not illegal) contributions to help keep the GOP in power;
8. Initiated failed economic policies which will result in a severe depression right after Bush leaves office (so the GOP can blame the Democrats);
9. Dismantled environmental laws designed to protect and preserve the delicate ecological balance between human beings, plants and other animals so we can all co-exist on this Earth;
10. Conspired with the most corrupt, evil, incompetent U.S. Congress in history to take a $3,300.00 cost-of-living pay increase while refusing to raise the minimum wage for 'common' citizens;
11. Used his family's influence to 'steal' an election (or two);
12. Lied to the American public and leaked information to the press whenever it conveniently fit his agenda;
13. Tried to censure the press whenever it publishes something he doesn't want to see in print;
14. Covered up his personal indiscretions involving military service (or lack thereof), drunk driving charges, and drug use;
15. Wasted America's time and money on useless non-binding resolutions on gay marriage and flag-burning, both political ploys to solidify his political base;
16. Created Homeland Security, one of the worst billion-dollar boondoggles ever to be crammed down taxpayers' throats;
17. Mismanaged the Katrina hurricane disaster at a cost of
billions of wasted dollars and a terrible cost to humanity (particular the poor);
18. Killed more than 2,500 U.S. soldiers (so far).

I realize these are all negative accomplishments, but that's the only thing Bush is good at: incompetency, stupidity, and false bravado. -RKO-

2) Iraq and Afghanistan have gone from brutal, oppressive dictatorships to democracies.

3) Bush forced Syria to withdraw its troops from Lebanon

7) Schools are being forced to produce results with Bush's "No Child Left Behind Act"

9) Bush has made two outstanding additions to the Supreme Court

10) Bush is grooming Condaleeza Rice to be our next President, which will be a major victory for our reputation overseas. It's a lot harder to sling mud and epithets at a black woman than a white man. It's very PC incorrect.

Pie guy, the facts are overwhelming. The Dems don't even want to leave Iraq, even though they say they do. We put it to a vote because they kept shooting their mouth off, and they voted AGAIN for the war. Bunch of hypocrites.

-Over 1500 schools have been renovated, and ridded of the weapons that were stored there, so education can occur.
-The port of Uhm Qasar was renovated so grain can be off loaded from ships faster.
-School attendance is up 80% from levels before the war.
-The country had it's first 2 billion barrel export of oil in August.
-The country now receives 2 times the electrical power it did before the war.
-100% of the hospitals are open and fully staffed compared to 35% before the war.
-Elections are taking place in every major city and city councils are in place.
-Sewer and water lines are installed in every major city.
-Over 60,000 police are patrolling the streets.
-Over 100,000 Iraqi civil defense police are securing the country.
-Over 80,000 Iraqi soldiers are patrolling the streets side by side with US soldiers.
-Over 400,000 people have telephones for the first time ever
-Students are taught field sanitation and hand washing techniques to prevent the spread of germs.
-An interim constitution has been signed.
-Girls are allowed to attend school for the first time ever in Iraq.
-Text books that don't mention Saddam are in the schools for the first time in 30 years.
