If we dropped corporate and personal funding of political parties, and transferred that to tax funded, do you think it would be better or worse?

For example, if the 1 dollar you can give (or not give) to campaign finance every year was raised to 10 dollars, and it was automatically given to the fund, there would be enough to pay for more than two parties to run and finance their campaign.

What would this mean to you? you'd be charged 9 dollars more a YEAR in taxes, and Big business's and rich people could not buy influence with campaign contributions.

Is this a huge change in your pocket? not at all.

Could this affect the outcome and principles of campaigns and politics? Absolutely.

This would take big business out of politics, other than lobbying, which would also need to be reviewed.

Some High School guy was living illegally for a good portion of his child life i think i heard since he was 3 and he recently graduated and got a scholarship for one of the top Universitys but he can't go because of his Illegal status. What do you guys think about kids that have lived Illegaly all their lives and are actually doing something good but can't do anything about it?

I think these kids need a chance they're usually some of the smarter kids wanting to do something about Immigrations laws.

why do they do immigrant riots in our country when they they have no business telling us to legalize them when they came illegally in this country which isnt even theirs? why do they expect us to save them from poverty when they can go save theirs that really needs help anyways? i thought they had pride in their country? but all they do is fill the USA up in population. why do they go in our country illegally? why do they get mad when we call them illegal aliens when thats what they really are? (this isnt a rascist question i just want to know why)

The Security and Prosterity Partnership of North America( ssp.gov) launched by the Leaders of Mexico, Canada and the United States in March 2005. and the NAFTA superhighway going from Mexico, through the middle of the United states, to Canada that will be 4 football fields wide, will we end up like the European Union. My friend and her child whom is physically disabled leased an apartment, both names are on the lease and she just passed away last month and now he can not afford to pay the rent. he is now looking for another apartment. What will happen if he broke the lease and as far as his security deposit. Will he be liable to pay for the rest of the contract.

Personally, I say scerw the UN (its been 2 days and they still don't know if they want to make a stupid statement or not) and we send a couple of our missles over there (they actually work) and blow up the remaining missles on the launch pad. If that little fuzz ball over there wants to start a war, let him. What is he going to do? They can't beat us. We don't even have to put a foot in their country to win. Our Navy and Air Force can do it. He had his chance back in 98 to stop (he said he would with Clinton) and yet, the little fuzz ball's ego has shot up again. But what do I know? I'm just a regular American. What do you think?

Along this street every parking space was marked with white lines, the last one had the wheelchair symbol painted on the ground inside the white lines, it also had a sign on each side (front and rear) stating it is a handicap spot. So I parked in the spot just behind it after making sure there was Not a wheelchair symbol painted inside that spot, nonetheless I got a ticket. P.S. This happened last weekend while vacationing in woodruff, wi - and even some of the locals told me I wasn't parked illegally. Dirty cops maybe? Trying to steal from the tourists? What would you do?

in this modern age, credit is almost a necessity for survival.
so with identity fraud, you put random numbers together, & run up the bill on that number, not ever knowing, or careing about the person whose number that belongs to.
but could you leave your identity to someone else after you pass on. i mean, what use do then have for it? none! so why not let someone else use it then?

John Lock, the creator of federalism, says that the sole purpose of the government is to benefit the people, and if the government does not benefit the people, it is our duty to overthrow it. So, since the government doesnt benefit us, isn't it our duty to assassinate congress, the president, etc.
