I'd rather fit the noose around the neck and pull the lever. Or put the gun to the back of his head and pull the trigger.
Perhaps it's my Italian heritage, but I feel that if you're going to kill someone, it is much better doing it up close and personal.
Any openings for executioner / torturer? I have a steady hand and a good imagination. The things I could do with a propane torch and a power sander...

No. I could not pull the switch. I think that should be left up to the person who condemned the person to death. Yes, I know a lot of people say hey they deserve to die but it is not our responsibility to condemn that person to death. Think about it, if you pull the switch to kill this person>>r u any better than the person who killed someone?<<

Depends on the person and the crime. Some one like Charles Manson yes, I could actually flick the switch just to torture him a little. however someone I did not know was guilty, I couldn't do it.

I could, if I were absolutely sure that the person was guilty, and the crime was one which was so horrific that society needed to be protected from this person.

What is the crime? Child molestation, murder, theft, treason...? I would find it much easier if I knew the victim of molestation, abduction, murder, etc. I would have a hard time no matter what, but I think I could do it because I know it would be right.

Yes, if I really believed that, that person did it and deserved this punishment. Just for the heck of it, no way.
