I think Bush is doing the best job he can. Being in charge of a whole country and having to worry about what all are neighboring countries are going through, is no an easy job by any means, He basically has the whole world on his shoulders, watching his every move. And some people only look at the mistakes he makes, and don't even look at all the good he has done. Remember, at the end of the day he's just as human as you or me.

I dont know why anyone would think that. If Bush was only looking out for himself he would make desisions like Clinton did. Desision to make himself popular, not the tough ones. He would worry more about what Europe thinks about America than fighting the war on terror. Taking the easy way out is the safe bet, and most politicians choose that road. But the ones that make the difficult choices are the ones history revielles as the great ones, later.
To say Bush went to war for oil is stupid. If you check Bush's financial records you will find he has not gained a single dollar from this war, or a single drop of oil.

he has been a failure his entire life .Average student , a brush or two with the law , failed businesses ,until, and this is where people call me a liar saudi sheiks invetred money in oil drilling in texas.WHY would saudi Arabia a land with billions of barrels in the ground invest with bush.NO conspericy here just ask why perhaps a good investment oppertunity to bail out an almost bankrupt company that never found any oil ,or maybe something else, you decide .
IF it is just plain good business i to have need of investors e-mail me at playtoofast@yahoo.com .I could sure use a few million to get my realestate investment firm back on track.
BUSH is selling the only thing he has and that is his family and some political power .
HE finaly found something he was good at , a whore for amercan business , willing to sell out every americans future , for a few more dollars today.
HIS record speaks clearly and no one can denie the truth ,ignore it yes but it is plain to see. I am suprised the papers have not listed it over and over till america listened .
TODAY you have to bash people over the head 20 times before the truth will sink-in.
SOME people still say we found wmd's in iraq even bush stayed away from that one but americans will try to hang on till the end fighting the truth the whole way down.
I find the press to blame by pandering to sensationalist headlines and stories that have two camps in place ready to go to war and both sides buying the news disecting it and misinforming americans.
IF we ever began to release the real truth about the economy ,unemployment ,prison poulation that grows ,but crime is down the economy doing great with a trillion bucks thrown at defense contractors no wonder it is but for who.GOOD solid manufacturing jobs lost and replaced with service jobs paying less .
This is no longer about bush it is about america and the press needs to help america out with real hard news about what is happening in america .

Sure he is out for his own gain. Most politicians are, and it is unrealistic to ask for a purely selfless politician. One may come along every blue moon, but normally this does not occur. What the public should ask is whether a politician's self interest corresponds with the interests of the nation. With respect to President Bush, I think the answer is a resounding no!

Is the Pope Catholic? Of course he's out for his own gain, both political and financial, and his blindly devoted followers don't seem to recognize that his support of big oil benefits him but not them (unless they're in the oil business too).
I'm not saying he went to war just for oil. That was more for political gains (rent Wag the Dog if you haven't seen it), although it's put a lot of cash in Cheney's pockets. However, Bush opposes the Kyoto Accord and other proposed measures to improve air quality because he wants those oil profits.

If he were looking out for his OWN gain, he could do a LOT better than being pres. of the U.S. of A. Way too many head aches for way too little money.

I am not sure if he is exactly out for his own gain, but I do believe he has some very strong beliefs, and is working to impress them on everyone else. His opinion has to be the right one, because it is his!

I'm not sure he is bright enough to even come up with something that intelligent. I think he is just doing whatever he is told to do.
