Remember when he said drug abusers were scum, and should be locked up for life? Then, he got arrested for being a drug addict? Shouldn't that have ended his career. Go on, right wingers, defend your boy.

My ex and I are legally seperated and in the seperation papers it states "The children will remain with mom, and dad will have generous visitation rights"
Does this mean I have full custody? Or do I have to file for full Custody? If I moved out of provience, would that be o.k? Or what do I have to do first in order to be able move?

Shouldn't we be feeding the hungry mouths of our country before feeding the hungry mouths of others? Were those countries whom we are feeding not the ones who killed innocent lives here in America? All the time we see homeless people wandering the streets with no place to go. This is america! The land of the free and the home of the brave! We should be feeding AMERICA'S hungry mouths first. We should be sharing the wealth of our prospering country. What else might we do to decrease homelessness and poverty here in America?

Man, some guy baited you with a "My son-in-law is a Liberal. Describe him." post and you guys fell for it hook, line and sinker. I can't imagine a more intolerant bunch.

Way to attract swing voters. What will be your excuse for losing a the upcoming election?

1)Christian conservatives don't believe in evolution...in 2006! There is no excuse for that now, besides stupidity.
2)They don't believe in global warming despite the fact that the whole scientific community agrees, except for some hack payed by Exxon-Mobil.
3)They think homosexuality is wrong and is a grave threat to their marriage.
4)They can cite many passages in the Bible that conforms to their already narrow mind, yet when the topic of helping the poor comes up, their answer is, "tax breaks!"
5)They moan that they are persecuted despite have 2-3 billion members and 85% of the country is Christian.
6)They're against abortion because they're so pro-life but they have no problems not funding child-care programs and cheerleading and supporting war.
7)They believe the Bible is exactly what happened.
8)They supported every stupid backward idea; slavery, child-labor, racism, sexism, anti-semitism, misogyny, gay persecution, creationism, and religious violence.

I watched Carlin tear her to shreds on Leno, and it didn't even phase her. At that moment I got it. I finally understood. She KNOWS she's wrong, and couldn't care less. Really, I think I would just punch her in the face.

Seriously, all my conservative friends said Bush did such a poor job in the first term because every new president is effected by the job the previous administration did. So go ahead and tell me whos fault the last two years have been.

Mexico is a rich country, they have many resources, but corruption is so deep that they have increased poverty. Politicians fight for them to have rights here, but what they should do is stop the freaking corruption in all they goverment agencies and balance wealth. Cause in mexico you got rich (very rich) people and poor (very poor) people theres no middle class and when you see the middle class dissapear is when you see the lack of understanding to manage the resources of a country.

The thing is maybe God is, or maybe God is not. If God is and we serve, leading a fraternal or brotherly life to the benefit of society, we have a chance to eternal life; whereas, if God is not, we would still have the benefit of service to our citizens. The contrary hypothesis, if God is and we fail to serve Him, would take us straight to eternal death, for the wisdom is of this generation remains still on the question, "what do we know?"

Arlington National Cemetary is where soldiers and prominent public figures are allowed the honor of being buried. Do you think Cheney should apply, or pass on this honor based on the following:

This quote comes from a Saturday NYTimes article --
"Cheney's Five Draft Deferments During the Vietnam Era Emerge as a Campaign Issue" -- discussing the lengths VP Dick Cheney went to in order to avoid serving during the Viet Nam war.

It is apparent from the piece that Richard Cheney did everything humanly possible -- short of fleeing to Canada -- to avoid military conscription: He applied for and recieved 5 student deferments, a number described as "incredible" by professor David Curry of the University of Missouri in St. Louis.

Crime is big buck for the crooks and the government. If crime were to stop,a lot of the police and corrections officers would be out of work.

Voted for Clinton 1992 and Bush in 2004 (yeah, I know, I was on a long hiatus). Anyone else like that. I don't go so much on party lines. I believe that certain leaders are good gor their times. Clinton would have had a weak response to 9/11 and Bush would have probably tinkered with the economy too much in the nineties (plus how weird would it have bee for the father to lose to his son?)

Anyway, I've seen a big change in the Dems, especially in the libs, since 1999. Seriously, some of you have lost your minds. Yeah, the republicans were gnasking their teeth from 1992-2000, but when angry republicans said stupid things like Hillary killed Vince Foster or Bill raped all those women, most normal Republicans ignored them and their extremist views.

But Bush-hating is infecting the moderates in the Dems, not just the liberals. Really, guys, dial it down a few notches. When you say Bush and Hitler in the same sentence, you just sound stupid.

Look over there. It's the swing voters. Wave.
