My problem is that we live in the only country in the world who DOES NOT NEED ANY BODY'S HELP. We have it all. Yet, a little country like Japan who has no natural resources but for fishing industry, is beating us in the economy by 26.64%
It is not how much money you make, but how much money you save. How in a household, like that in a country too. If we pay so much in taxes of every kind, that this country would be a really model in every way if the money was put back in it. why do we have to spend all of it on stupid wars. If we did not go to war for only 5 years, we would have so much money, we could create jobs for 70% of all the army. This is a horrible the way we are.
Switzerland, Australia, all are doing better than us, and those are the ones that never go to wars. I hope our next president is a pacifist.

Wow nice answers so far, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Bush is far from an antichrist, if you even knew what the bible said about the antichrist, you would not even ask the question.
But lets look at this from a different light.
Gangs, how is this the Presidents job? Wouldn't this fall under local and state authority...? I don't see anything in the Constitution saying the Executive branch shall be in charge of local gangs.
Poverty, the economy has done amazingly since the Clinton slowdown (it was not ever quite a recession), not to mention the disruption of being thrown into a war thanks to some towel heads and a couple planes. Is Bush supposed to go out there and tell people to get jobs? If you are poor, go to WORK! it is very simple.
Flooding, I assume you are mainly referring to Katrina, it was a terrible shame, but if you choose to live UNDER sealevel, and let your state and local governments steal federal money for levee maintence and construction, you reap what you sow, again not the Presidents job.
And lastly my favorite high gas prices. For starters, let me let you in on a little secret, THEY AREN'T HIGH!
Think about the process, you have to go all over the globe, and more often then not some of the most dangerous unfavorable places, to drill down and extract very crude.. crude oil. It then has to be transported to a coastline, loaded on tankers, brought back to more favorable parts of the world that can actually refine the stuff. Then the refining process which was complex enough, it further slowed down, by wacko environmental laws that force not the 3 types of gasoline you see at your pump but over 60 different blends for different states and regions. It then has to be shipped all across our country to regional storage places, which at least for the most part can be done through pipelines, by the wacko environmentalists screwed this up as well. With the introduction of Ethenol, ethenol cannot be shipped via pipelines as it would destroy the pipelines, so that has to be shipped by truck and/or rail to regional storage centers. At this point we can finally blend our ethenol and the gasoline, to create the final product, it is then loaded up tanker trucks to be delivered to your local gasoline station. Add on a huge amount of state and federal taxes, and I am still paying less then three dollars per gallon.
Compare this to a cow, who eats some grass, pumps out milk, which is then simply pasteurized and homogenized and shipped to your grocery store. How much is a gallon of milk?

When he began the war he was very optimistic about it`s outcome. He thought that only rogues, terrorists woulkd be killed and America will eradicate terrorism from Iraq. Litle did he know that this would prove otherwise.
This goes to show that power should be vested only with very mature people who think about the after-efffects of their actions. One should`nt get overconficdent. Even now plenty of time is there for Bush to mend his ways.

No, for pete's sake, he's a tool, beimg manipulated by a lower power. Have you noticed how members of his family, Mama, Papa, brothers are never around him. They seldom spend even holidays with him...I think they're ashamed of him and can't blame them.
The anti-christ lives, but not in our bobble-head president. Georgie does as he bidden.

tm_tech32, excellent answer!
I would also add that anyone who thinks they have high gas prices in the US haven't travelled very much. I'd like to see how they'd fare in the UK, where fuel prices are something like $8 a gallon.

Like all free nations in a capitalistic society Crime plays a major role in the grand scheme of things. Federal Governments are far too lax on putting criminals in prison, afterall they're voters, too!!

Why don't you educate yourself.
Was Clinton the anti-Christ? We had gangs, poverty, natural disasters under him. (RWANDA!)

not another bushy question...please lets just ignore him until he's out of office.. admittedly he does one dumb thing after another but we know he's going too. We know that our nation is going to be so messed up when he finally leaves office that it will not get straightened out in our lifetime and we can thank his supporters for it. lets just ride the storm out.
