Voted for Clinton 1992 and Bush in 2004 (yeah, I know, I was on a long hiatus). Anyone else like that. I don't go so much on party lines. I believe that certain leaders are good gor their times. Clinton would have had a weak response to 9/11 and Bush would have probably tinkered with the economy too much in the nineties (plus how weird would it have bee for the father to lose to his son?)

Anyway, I've seen a big change in the Dems, especially in the libs, since 1999. Seriously, some of you have lost your minds. Yeah, the republicans were gnasking their teeth from 1992-2000, but when angry republicans said stupid things like Hillary killed Vince Foster or Bill raped all those women, most normal Republicans ignored them and their extremist views.

But Bush-hating is infecting the moderates in the Dems, not just the liberals. Really, guys, dial it down a few notches. When you say Bush and Hitler in the same sentence, you just sound stupid.

Look over there. It's the swing voters. Wave.

DUFFMAN- Did you even read my post? Bush Sr. in 1992 and George W in 2004 were twelve years apart. Different times call for different leaders.

Bush is a Fascist, who is dismantling the Constitution, breaking laws he wants at a whim, ignores treaties, illegally wiretaps, gets our phone and email records, wants to make Internet companies keep a record of every site you visited on the Internet for 2 years, can go into anywhere and see your records without you knowledge and it is illegal for them to tell you that he has done so, now has been found to have been tracking all money coming into or out of this country, has secret CIA torture camps, and wants to spread "his" democracy to the whole world. By force it seems! ""we're actively working with our partners to spread peace and democracy" George Bush

But Austrian Wolfgang Schuessel also prodded Bush.

"We can only have a victory in the fight against terror if we don't undermine our common values," Schuessel said.

"It can never be a victory, a credible victory over terrorists if we give up our values: democracy, rule of law, individual rights." TERENCE HUNT, AP White House Correspondent 6/21/2006

Get it! At what price. We give up all of our values, rule of law and individual rights!! THIS REMARK WAS DIRECTLY AIMED AT BUSH!!

I think there are a lot of comparisons I think

My best friend voted for Bush in '92, Clinton in '96, Bush in 2000.

Honestly, he now considers himself a Democrat, though. He's like a decent number of Americans who have had it with Bush's policies and denials of obvious facts.

Sure, Republicans were nutso during the Clinton administration. They also spent billions of dollars trying to destroy him. Democrats just scream and yell about how awful Bush is. While I'm sure it's annoying to you, it could be worse.

You can call it Bush-hating. I call it hating Bush's ridiculous policies.

So you are one of the dummies that voted for him in '04? Well I sure as hell do not want to hear you complaining about how he drilled this country into the ground. I say this to all people who voted for Bush in '04: You knew what he was about for the previous 4 years. What made you think he would be any different? You got what you voted for. Live with it, with a big smile on your face, cause the rest of us don't want to hear your complaining.

So the right wing sucked you in with their lies and propaganda. I'm sorry we lost you. If you were against reelecting Bush in 92 then you should have been against reelecting Bush in 04.
