1. I cannot stand these uneducated hicks that still do not know what a theory is. A fu%king theory is a proposed description, explanation, or model of the manner of interaction of a set of natural phenomena, capable of predicting future occurrences or observations of the same kind, and has nothing disproving it. A law is a theory that can explain future observations by using past ones, all laws are theories you idiots that believe a law is absolute. A theory is not just some idea in science but the highest degree anything can have. It is parallel to a fact. There is nothing that supports creation and nothing that disproves evolution. Why with so many transition fossils do bible lovers still say there are no fossils showing apes evolving into modern man? We found so many species.

2. Why believe in global warming with all the evidence if you think that we all came from just two people and there was not incest involved. Remember science shows the errors in the bible so we cannot believe in anything they say. Adam and Eve had kids and we came just from them but incest is a sin. God must have found another way for them to have children of their own. Maybe they were asexual for a few generations.

3. Yes being gay is wrong because the bible says so. The bible also says the world is flat and blacks are inferior so I must believe that.

4. The poor do not need help. Once they believe in Jesus the Lord will save them. Duh think Eskimo before speaking.

5.Christians are persecuted. They are not aloud to eat in restaurants or use the same public restrooms as non-Christians. Go to a job interview and say you are a Christian and you can kiss that job goodbye. Christians have to start standing up and announcing they will not tolerate this any longer.

6. We support war to kill innocent civilians in Iraq but think anyone who supports abortion is going to hell. Yes lets kill innocents but not an embryo that is clearly far from being developed. What you are not thinking of Eskimo is that all people from the Middle East are evil. God put them there as a test. We need to wipe them out. An embryo if it is a white Christian is free from sin.

7. The bible is the word of God. Show me proof it is not. So what that it seems to have many contradictions we just overlook that. Have you ever thought God made it that way to test our faith?

8. What is wrong with slavery? The blacks were slaves not whites. Children should have the right to work 15 hours shifts. It is good for a growing economy. Racism? Christians are being persecuted and you say we are racist. That statement is racial (haha). As for sexism women are not real people, so there. Jews are not Christians so who cares what happens to them, I believe Jesus would want it that way. If you just would take the word of God as fact and not faith with no evidence I believe you would see the error of your ways. I will pray to Jebus for your soul.

You are the one not to be taken seriously, this is a bunch of bologna. Really, I'm a conservative Christian and I don't support slavery, racism, sexism, anti-semitism or any of that other stuff except for creationism.

1. Evolution barely has enough evidence to be called a theory. It is not a law yet and if you actually did your own studies of it like, say, reading Darwin's Origins of the Species, you would see that he lists hundreds of holes in his own theory. If we evolved, why are there no intermitent skeletones of half-men, half-monkey?

2. Not all the scientific comunity agrees and I should know. Certainly, if I see some real evidence I will believe but it doesn't matter anyway.

3.I believe homosexuality is wrong because the Bible says it is wrong and, being the word of God, I accept that.

4. What are you on about? That's aboslute garbage.

5. I don't know where you get your statistics but you are very wrong. Some 45% of people in America CLAIM to be Christians and about 1/3 of those attend churches at all.

6. Abortion is wrong because it is murder. Many Christians do, in fact, support child-care programs and there are many Christian orginizations just for that. Cheerleading? Where the heck did that come from? And war, yes, I do support it. Just as I support a unbord child's right to life, I support born people's right to life. I assume you are talking about the Iraq war where Saddam was murdering thousands of people and burying them. So there were no WMD's there but everyone has heard of the mass graves there.

7. Duh! Almost 100% of historical evidence agrees with the Bible's recollection of events AND if you were given a book from God Almighy, would you NOT believe it?

8. Slavery; I do not support the form of slavery you are thinking of or any at all really. Now, in ancient times when someone stole from another the theif could become the other man's "slave" and work for a time until the debt is repaid which seems fair enough. Child-labor. What's wrong with kids working? If some kids got off their butts these days they wouldn't be so fat. Forced child-labor is wrong, of course, but if a kid wants to work than I'd let him. Racism; I am strongly against. I don't know where you got tham. Same goes for all of them except for creationism. Gay persecution? What the heck!? Yes, I just got back from our big homosexual bondfire. We just love persecuting them. Give me a break.

Creationism is clearly outlined in the Bible and it certainly makes more sense than there being a giant explosion forming a universe and then a barren rock being perfectly aligned just far enough away from the sun to support life and then by some miracle a bacteria evolving over millions of years into people.

You really should read up on your facts before spewing this junk.

1)Evolution is a theory, not a fact. Darwin came out with his book “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life” in 1859. That has been 147 years. In 147 years they have not been able to prove it. That’s a long time to believe in something that has yet to be proven
2)Christians do believe in global warming. Where did you get THAT one?
3)They don’t believe homosexuality is a threat to their marriage. Same sex marriage is more involved than what you portray it to be. I won’t go into it all since that would be lengthy. As far as feeling that homosexuality is wrong, we have that right. We also feel that pedophilia is wrong, as well as rape.
4)Tax breaks? How much do you give to charity? How many children in third world countries do you sponsor? How many of your non-Christian friends risk their lives to help those in third world countries?
5)If 85% of the population is Christian, then why can’t Christians say the words Jesus Christ in school? Why can’t Christians take their Bibles to work? Why can’t they rent out schools for services? Why do people have to get permits for Bible study, which is equivalent to having people over for a few hours? And don’t say separation of church and state since that was contained in a letter from Jefferson to a pastor. A private letter. Yet somehow it has become law.
6)We against killing a person who can’t fight back. How could someone be for killing innocent life? Also, women who have had abortions during their first pregnancies, have a higher rate of breast and cervical cancer. Why doesn’t anyone wanna talk about the health affects? Cuse abortion is a billion dollar business right now….killing babies is very profitable.
7)There is proof that things in the Bible happened. Archeological.
8) Actually, the Wigs (Republican) started with Lincoln. The other party was Democrat. So the Democrats were those who were for slavery. Those who were involved in the Underground Railroad (look it up) were Christian. If they were found out they were killed. You need to get the facts right. How are we for religious violence?
Honestly, I have no idea where you get these convoluted, bias, and prejudiced ideas. Tell me it’s not from a web site…Tell me you think for yourself.

A dangerous force? That's what Hitler said about the Jews....weird how history repeats itself...

I'm with you on most, except the global warming, I haven't heard a Christian stand on that. I shake my head too when I hear some of the idiotic things come out of bible thumper's mouths, and I look into their eyes and try to see even a fleck of reality - but alas - it's not to be....see I had an argument about some old broad in the bible who lived 1300 years or something - and this chick thought it really happened - I couldn't argue with idiocy so I just laughed and walked away.

Actually, you should take them seriously. They are a dangerous force and a threat to the American way of life. They will not quit until they have turned America into a Christian theocracy where everyone must have to pray the same way they do and all laws will be a Christian version of Muslim Sharia law.

Okay, that's probably a little on the extreme side, I realize. Do take the Religious Right seriously. They are trying to change America to suit their religion.

NOTE TO SIMON (see below):

Did you really intend to prove the asker's question and rant correct? Cause you did.

Many Christians like to hear themselves moralize, as long as it doesn't effect them. Try removing a religious object from federal property!

They talk out of both sides of their mouths and will run you down in a cross walk as they get out of church.

They are some of the biggest bigots and racist around!

They are also some of the worst child abusers! I know for a fact!! I have seen them tape children to a floor and break kids bones, but they are great Christians!!

Unfortunately they have to be taken seriously! They are a growing voting block that must be stopped at all costs!!Almost as much as terrorists need to be.They are ignorant, ignorant people. They are free to believe what they want to in this country though and that's on them but we can't allow them to steer the direction this great nation of OURS takes.

They need to be taken especially seriously. Anybody with power needs to be heeded, no matter how insane or dangerous. Similarly, we needed to take Osama's threat seriously, even though he argues things much crazier than even Christians and is willing to actually kill to get himself heard. If you're planning to go into politics, you will have to take this group into account, you can't simply ignore them or worse, insult them.
