Seriously, all my conservative friends said Bush did such a poor job in the first term because every new president is effected by the job the previous administration did. So go ahead and tell me whos fault the last two years have been.

OBVIOUSLY, it's all clinton's fault. Bush couldn't POSSIBLY have fvcked anything up THIS bad, right? He's GAWD'S president, remember?

I doubt your conservative friends said that, especially when Bush's approval rating was a heck of a lot higher in the first term than in the second. Clinton had his share of woes as well. The botched raid attempt in Mogadishu, bombing of the Cole, first World Trade Center bombing, bombing of the Embassies. See, we were being attacked in Clinton's presidency, it just wasn't on American soil, (except for the first attempt at the Trade Center) and the press didn't play much on it. In Mogadishu, 18 soldiers were killed. 17 sailors killed on the Cole. Embassy bombings, 258 dead. Plus the 3,000 plus killed during the 9/11 attack (which Clinton shares responsibility for). Clinton didn't do anything about this stuff, so the terrorists considered us to be weak and cowards, ripe for the picking....Clinton set us up for 9/11. It's so easy to be the armchair quarterback. If Bush had done nothing, do you think they would have stopped? Where would we be now, if he had done what Clinton had done which is nothing? I guess some people like home games.

They still try to blame everything on Clinton. Our government now is truly pathetic. The Bush administration is raping this country and the rest of the world, and the Dems don't have the B@lls to stop them!!!!

" The Party is not concerned with perpetuating its blood but with perpetuating itself. Who wields power is not important, provided that the hierarchical structure remains always the same." 1984 George Orwell I don't know why but the quote feels relevant.
