Crime is big buck for the crooks and the government. If crime were to stop,a lot of the police and corrections officers would be out of work.

If crime stopped, the price of things would come down. I wouldn't need to spend as much on insurance. At the store, where they jack up the price of things to cover for what was shop lifted, I would pay less. The economy would have a big boom because people would be able to buy more products because they'd have more money to spend.

Oh, the police and corrections officers I'd feel sorry for as they are the little people just trying to get by like you and me. But thing about the legal profession and all of those high priced attorneys who rake people over the coals with their outrageous fees in order to fuel their egos and pay for the Mercedes, the house, the boat, and the other things so many Americans will never have the opportunity to enjoy. I for one would love to see crime end, but we'll all see that when we see 0.33 a gallon gasoline again too.

The Government would make up new laws to keep the cops in a job.
