My daughter lives in texas with her dad. I live in Indiana with my boys. I went to texas a few weeks ago and couldn't pick her up as scheduled for the summer vacation. I had already purchased plane tickets, asked for certain days on, and so on. Before I left, I was served with court papers about me being sued for full custody and a restraning order. I went balistic. I called to texas and spoke to everyone i could at the court house and went through a lengthy phone interview for tx rural legal aid. I went with some hope, but much to my dismay, I return without my daughter. I am a single working mother, trying my best. Why he would do something like that just because he doesn't like me, is uncomprehensional. My boys were severely dissappointed as was I. I can'y afford a high priced attorney. I wrote up a per say motion for continuance and was grated one month. My court date is July 6th. There is no possible way I can make it, and even if I could I have no representation.

The most recent, the mom took my grandson to the emergency at 3:00 am. She told my son that she had been up drinking and found my grandson with a bottle of pills. The pills had a childproof cap on them and she claims that my grandson ( 1 1/2 yrs old) got the cap off of her sleeping meds and she found him with pills in his hands. She took him to the emergency. I asked my son "What was Kayn doing up at that hour"? I believe he should have been in bed hours ago, and if he had been in bed the incident would never had happened. I called Ingham protective services and told them what happened. They blew me off and one of the workers said to me " Well children go to bed when they go to bed". I asked her " Are you kidding me"? She is a known drug user, anything from meth, coke, pot and pills. I have called child protective services on her drug use. At a time when my son and her were together a CPS worker called my son and told him well as long as your not doing the drugs in front of the child.

The Human Rights Act has eroded the common law which protected us all, destroying a delicate balance of law developed through centuries of compromise between all strata of society.

Those who do not keep the peace put themselves outside the King's grace and should not be allowed to benefit from the protection of those laws until such time as justice has been fully done.

"We don't believe in planners and deciders making the decisions on behalf of Americans."

"We need an energy bill that encourages consumption."

"I rarely read the stories, and get briefed by people who are probably read the news themselves."

"It's amazing I won. I was running AGAINST peace, prosperity, and incumbency."

Yesterday I asked a question about global warming. Many of the responses I recieved surprised me. Most republicans said global warming was a lie. Why don't republicans believe in it?? The planet's temperature has risen quite a bit over the past 50 years.

One answer I recieved in particular irked me-
"Stop the presses. The worlds temperature has gone up another .0000000001% of a degree. Everybody turn in your car keys."

Do republicans not realize that a temperature change of a few degrees in a human could kill it?? Anyhow, George bush campaigned on moral issues, but global warming could kill millions. This is more important than a few blood cells that have no feeling in a mother's stomach.

And please, don't be an @$$ when answering, I tried to be polite when asking my question, I'd appreciate it if you did the same.

when I called police he left the scene and later he was arrested. My dad had to go to police station and an police officer interviewed my dad and the guy. The officer told us that the guy has been charged with assault, but the guy is making an allegation on me that I threatened him to kill, and he had to ran away... When I heard a phone call from my mom that the guy is beating dad, I ran to the place and when I saw blood on my dad face I got so upset I tried to go after him but mom and my brother was stopping me doing that only I swore to him using F..words. What should I do with this allegation which I don't remember saying that? (somebody is beating my dad and there is blood on my dad face, It hurted me a lot. No other son would stand there say nothing or do nothing)
ps: I just found out that the guy has hired a defence lawyer.
I or my family can't not forgive what he done to my dad. I can't not let him get away this without any punishment. What should I do?

I know Jimmy Carter should be considered a saint when he dies; but he was, to SOME, the worst DEMOCRATIC president. So is he the worst or is there a NEW king. A continuation of the "well ain't dry" VERSUS series.

For instance, if you are taught to believe that the meaning in life resides in getting status, Power, and money, and not in the development of quality relationships with others, you're likely to hurt people to get what you want. Is this correct in your opinion?

Some economists say that giving tax cuts to the wealthy influences investment back into society. I don't know that I agree. I think that people line their own pockets before that investment occurs.

this is in regards to the "Geneva Convention". I don't know if this happen in WWI, but it defenately happened in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, probably the Gulf War and recently Iraqi Freedom. POW's were executed, murdered, beaten savagely, starved on purpose, mutilated, etc...especially with our troops & allies. When we himuliate & beat/torture some of their POW's we get, the whole world says "f*ck the U.S." & hate us for it. Frankly I don't see what the big deal is with kicking some of their POW's azz a little bit. To prove my point watch the movie(s) like "end of all wars", "last great raid" & don't forget "schindler's list". I say it's about time we get some payback & beat their POW's, just like how the Japanese treated our POW's. To all the people that say it's inhumane...watch the movies I just listed & read some of the true stories/documentaries. See if you would like to be treated that way, cause I sure the hell won't. So I say this is all BS & F*CK THEM...it's PAYBACK TIME.

National Guard troops that had been sent to Iraq "took a lot of needed equipment with them, including dozens of high-water vehicles, Humvees, refuelling tankers and generators that would be needed in the event a major natural disaster hit the state," The Wall Street Journal reported. "A senior Army official said the service was reluctant to commit the 4th brigade of the 10th Mountain Division from Fort Polk, because the unit, which numbers several thousand soldiers, is in the midst of preparing for an Afghanistan deployment."

The white people invaded nothing. They built a country by blood, sweat and tears. These so called "native Americans" came here from Siberia only 20,000 years ago. The U.S.A made treaty after treaty with the Indian then the Indians would on the war path and break the treaties. The uncivilized Indians massacred and raped many thousands of innocent women and children. The whites have done nothing but try to civilize the Indians. Most Indians are pampered, spoiled, lazy and do not work getting drunk daily on their reservations at taxpayer expense. The taxpayer also pays the Indians' other living expenses via twisted welfare laws.
