01:01:42 PM
hr:min:sec.
To distinguish between am and pm is if the hour number is larger than 12 it's pm. Just subtract the hour and you get the normal hour.
If it's smaller than 12 it's am

It would be 1:01 PM (not sure just what the :42 is). Military time goes from 100 in the morning to midnight which would be 2400
(24 hours in a day). A military "hour" is divided into 100 segments
where an hour in normal time is 60 seconds. Therefore I assume the :42 would be almost 42% of a "minute" ( :50 would be 1/2 of a "minute"). The time clock at work is on military time.

1:01 pm and 42 seconds. It is on a 24-hour clock, like the military and many countries other than the US use.

it is 1:01 pm and 42 seconds. you can figure out military time by subtracting 12 hrs from the total time.
if the total time is...
over 12 hrs= night
under 12 hrs= still morning
