Aren't you interested in seeing the story of the human cost of the war in Iraq?

People are being manipulated endlessly by Bush. One of the most disgraceful things about this war is the political ban on seeing the coffins that come home? Have we become such a callous society that we do not allow citizens to see the toll on loved ones, on the loss of our soldiers? When is this madness going to end? Why aren't Americans speaking out? Military folks-would love the comments!!Ok i need a day, How do I tell my supervisor-read the details below!?

Ok, I need a day off, no it is not an emergency, I just have a lot of stuff I need to get done, take cats to get spayed, then my husbands graduation is later on that night, about an hour away, so even if i have to come into work, i would ask to leave early anyway. Are we allowed to just request one day off and it not have to be an emergency or tdy or anything like that? Also, for any supervisors out there-Would you like for me to just straight up tell you I have a lot to do? I would rather tell him the truth but not if it won't get me a day off! Thank you for the help!

Does anyone know about concentration camps being set up by FEMA for Muslims bcuz of war on "terror"? Thanks

There have been rumors about the Muslim communities that FEMA, through the REX 84 plan, has set up concentration camps for Muslims to detain them in the event that a crisis should happen...Why is there a need for these camps? What could this crisis be that the U.S. govt is planning for? Why have these camps sprung up within close range of 9/11?

Which would you rather have, the illusion of security or the illusion of freedom?

You can't be free and you can't be secure. We sure seem to be giving up a lot of freedom for the illusion of security these days. I like it the other way around.

Why can't a felon vote?

If they work and pay taxes, they should be allowed to vote, period! Any American citizen who pays taxes to good ol' Uncle Sam should have the right to vote, they did their time and are now a part of society again, they have a right to help chose politicians and laws as much as I do. Who agrees with me?

Why do Christians see fit to impose there beliefs on everyone else by trying to pass laws?

There are so many other beliefs in America. Why not just stick with basic laws. Like not killing or stealing. Not those banning gays getting married for example. Who really cares what they do and what they call it. It's not hurting you physically or degrading the moral fiber. You could argue that cheating does that. If they pass laws like that then they should go across the board and make laws punishing those unfaithful to their husbands or wife, right?
