the government won't lower the gas prices because the effect the oil companies and revenue.

The U.S.A has enough oil if we just use our own. My point is that if we bought less and used our own oil then the supply and demand would go down and O.P.E.C. would have to drop their price because the demand would be less .

The government doesn't have to validate gas prices.

The american people (i'm one!) just accept what those in power do to them while watching American Idol and Survivor.

I got share of stock in the oil company's .does that mean I control the profits.your logic really eludes me but if you feel it will make you feel better then by all means do it.But people have been chanting this and yet the prices keep climbing.When you find out who is responsible and start yelling their name the prices will come down,if you are taking the cookies and someone else is being blamed why would you stop but if you get caught you will stop.
