Afghanistan is bigger and larger than Iraq. But US only has about 20,000 troops in Afghanistan versus 150,000 in Iraq. Why aren't we sending more troops to catch Osama? After all, it wasn't Sadam but it was Osama who attacked America

From the moral high ground to the gutter. Massoud Shadjareh, of the UK Islamic Human Rights Commission, said of US officials' remarks: "This is the sort of statement that SS officers in Nazi Germany would have been envious of."

What happened ? Did mosad get on the phone and say "Shalom, don't go to work tomorrow, we're going to blow it up and all your non Jewish workmates, please don't tell them or the FBI."
Smells like bullshit to me.
The war on terror has been one big oil grab for the Bush oil mafia, everybody knows it. Rumors like this just make us thinking people look like crackpots.

If so, what was the most interesting thing you learned about an opposing viewpoint?

Basically more than half of these questions have one side spouting off to the other and calling each other ignorant and then the best answer is most always given to the person who repeated and agreed with what the asker wrote.

It does not appear that most questions are asked or answered in this category in order to gain knowledge (not that there is anything wrong with that - just an observation - I myself am guilty of it from time to time).

I am just curious as to how many people have actually been interested in "the other side's" opinion and if so, have any made you think about your own position twice or even given you info that changed or modified your opionion on any topic, and if so what.

For an example: most Americans don't know that the British empire pitted Arabs and Turks against each other, and when they had killed thousands of each other; the British moved in and occupied the region. This occurred in the 1920s, and they occupied Iraq and defined the map in that part of the world, as we know it today. They promised the Arabs sovereignty and autonomy, and did not keep their promises. How can you promise men sovereignty and autonomy in their own country?

This occupation lasted several years, and was undermined by freedom and resistance fighters. Does this sound like deja vu? The USA's invasion and occupations in the Middle East is history or mankind ignorantly repeating itself.

You can research this yourself by looking it up at the online encyclopedia "www.Wikipedia.com", or do a google.com or ask.com search. Also, the BBC is another good reference source.

Building 7 was a 47 story steel framed building that fell into it's own footprint at 5:45 pm on September 11th. This has been completely ignored by the media. The 9/11 commission said it was unimportant and the fires probably caused the collapse. Fires have never brought down a steel framed building in history. A few small fires on three floors did not bring down that building, so what really happened? Why is the government covering up the truth? Why is the media keeping completely silent about it? How does WTC 7 break the laws of physics? Steel does not melt at the temperature the fires in that building were capable of reaching, so what really did bring it down? The owner Larry Silverstein admitted he gave the order to "pull it" (a term for controlled demolition) yet the media has ignored it. WHY IS THIS BEING IGNORED?
